Few questions on donating and blood pressure

Onk

1kg = 2.20 lbs
1/ Gave blood today and did plasma, does this help your hemacrit levels or is that only whole blood or platelet donations? If so, as I have A+ blood, plasma or platelets are what's needed most in Australia so I should do these more regularly then whole blood.

2/ Since I gave blood, am I fine pinning tomorrow as per my schedule?

3/ My BP was 142/73 and the other time midcycle was 148/74. My resting heart rate is 58. Given I'm on a gram of test, 1.2g eq (finished 1.5 weeks ago) plus 800mg mast, reckon a lot of that is the gear? I am a little stressed out by work as well. Prior tests before this cycle I've been around 120/65

1. I cant answer that one as I dont know brother, sorry.

2. You are fine to pin as usual, give er.

3. Those numbers arent that bad at all man with those doses youre running. Thats nothing to worry about AT ALL. It could be the gear. Maybe a little water retention from either the gear or diet. Stress as well elevates it. But another thing that spikes BP readings is just knowing you checking your BP!!

Cialis works wonders :)

1. Nope. In fact, it temporarily INCREASES hematocrit, as you've lowered the liquid portion of your blood. Platelets win by a mile as it reduces HCT quickly, doesn't hinder ferritin, can be done E7D, and often has more experienced phlebotomists at the helm. The only downside Iis that it takes significantly longer than donating whole blood.

2. As Schredder stated, you're gtg to pin. Just make sure you're drinking extra fluids to restore that vital plasma. Exercise shouldn't be too harsh, but it's common to be a little on the weaker side a couple days after.

3. Blood pressure is my biggest enemy when it's time to donate. The average cuff is designed (large) for 18 inch arms. As mine are bigger than that, my blood pressure is aalways higher than what it actually is due to the cuff being stretched to the max. I try to workout several hours before I donate, ease up on caffeine/PWO/ephedrine 4 hours before I go, and make an honest attempt to leave EARLY.

In my experience, being on the verge of running late forces me to drive much faster, rage at the overabundance of 70 year olds on the road, and being in a heightened state of awareness as I don't want Officer Friendly catching me going a bit over the speed limit. All that has brought my bp upwards of 30 points systolic! Leaving early lets me drive nice and chill, listening to massive attack instead of soulfly.

Hope that helps buddy! :)

Edit: Forgot to comment on the AAS. You're definitely at doses where AAS will increase bp, even if you are an estradiol nazi. Lisinopril and HCTZ can really help if you can find them.
