Final month of taxingted's first cycle.

First off I want to say hello to all of the steroidology members. I have been here for a little over half a year now but never posted before, mainly because I feel like most here know more about lifting than I do so it's best to leave it to the experts and whenever I have had a question about something I have always been able to find it by searching previous posts. Better to do that than to waste everybody else's time over and over.

My housemate is LiftTillIDie, one of the regulars on here, and we are both around week 12 of our cycle. I've copied and pasted here the cycle regimen from his cycle log as it is basically the same. Here it is:

Weeks:
1-3: 1000 mg test E (frontload)
4-12: 500 mg test E
10-13: 30 mg superdrol per day
13-15:150mg prop eod
PCT:
15-16: 40 mg nolva/day + 12.5 mg aromasin ed or eod (we'll see how much I have left)
17-18: 20 mg nolva/day

1-4: Aromasin 12.5 mg eod
4-14: Aromasin 12.5 mg e3d
2-14: HCG 250iu twice weekly (will increase if necessary)

The Superdrol was added to hopefully give the strength a little last minute push. The HCG dosage has been brought up to around 400 iu twice a week and for the most part it's done a great job. Here is a quick profile as well:

Age: 23
Height: 5'9
Weight: Pre-cycle and right after a cutting diet, 173, currently 195

Been out of town off and on this week sadly and haven't been in the gym as much as I have wanted. I will fill in more information later tonight after I go lift.
 
Tonight's workout started like garbage but finished well. My workout is two days on, two off, four days being upper body power, lower body rep, upper body rep, and lower body power. Today was upper body power. Did the normal 5 x 5 for bench press and on the last set I normally get a spot. I was attempting to get 235 5 times for the first time, but unfortunately the spotter didn't seem to understand English. He would not let go of the bar the entire friggin time. The first three reps I said "let go, let go of the bar, let go of the bar" and finally just said the hell with it. Did 10 reps with him stabilizing the bar but it means diddley poo. Anybody's grandma could do that with somebody holding the bar. So I guess I'll have to try that again next week with a good spot and see what happens.

On the plus side got PR's on back rows and the Arnold Press for shoulders on the final set at 8 reps with 55 lb db's. Normally do shrugs at the end but my back has been bothering me all day and was spent so they are postponed until tomorrow's lower body rep day. I think it's just back pumps but they seem to be more of a pain than normal.
 
Tonight was lower body rep. Started with 4 sets of BB lunges at 8 reps, finished at 155 which was a PR (lunges is one of the weaker exercises for some reason). Then did leg press 3 sets of 8 and didn't push too hard, finished at 500 or 1/4 of what Pat Robertson can do. Because of the time crunch I did super sets of standing calves, shrugs, and bicep curls. Normally don't do shrugs today but didn't do them yesterday. Last couple days have really been struggling with getting an appetite, has anybody else had this problem? Also back wasn't nearly as bad as yesterday. Time for two days of rest.
 
Injection on Monday went OK, though I think I hit the top part of my quad instead of the side so it was a little more sore than usual. Took an extra day's rest because my body felt like it needed a break. Today was upper body rep, so 4 sets of 8 incline bench press, PR'd at 9 reps at 205, though again I had a loser spotter who stabilized the bar. Not as bad as the other guy but Jesus, is it really that hard to properly spot somebody? Then did chest machine flies and PR'd there. For back did an Iso High-Row finishing 3 sets of 10 at 115 on each side, followed by a PR in the low row at 10 reps 160. Normally do a shoulder exercise and shrugs but I was out of gas and went back home.

Got a boil on the left side of my face under the jaw and it plain sucks. I won't be able to go out in public if it gets any bigger. Part of it might be due to the test and the fact I have abnormally jewish curly hair. Also have noticed lately some tightness in muscles, in particular the connective tissue where the forearm and the bicep connect at the elbow. For example, if I am talking on a phone with my arm holding it my arm is around a 45 degree angle. If I straighten my arm out too quickly I feel as though I may tear that tissue. It doesn't happen every time but a fair amount, more of a nuisance than anything else. Anybody have any ideas?

Otherwise things are going fairly well. Have made slow progressive gains for quite some time now, but the goal of getting to 200 lbs is a ways away. It has been hot here and for some reason the appetite has just vanished, it's torture to eat practically every meal. Next inject is tomorrow after workout.
 
Injection tonight went all right. Though LTID and I have realized we probably need some more HCG b/c we are going to run out a couple weeks before everything is done. It stinks but I'd rather make a new batch than have raisin balls.

Workout went very well. PR'd on squats and did 3 plates (315) 5 times. That's way up from last time at 290 5 times. Did 305 5 times before that and felt good enough to do one more set, so did 6 sets total. I expected a boost but not that big of one. It pays off sometimes to give the legs a rest for a while they felt real fresh tonight. Did calves after that and an exercise for biceps and triceps finishing with shrugs that I put off yesterday. It's going to suck in a few weeks when this cycle comes to an end. OK back to X files.
 
Upper body power day. Did the usual 5 x 5 but did decline bench this time at 135, 165, 185, 205 and 225. Did 8 reps at 225 so another PR, no spotter this time. Did some machine I forget the name where you rest your chest and abs and pull up weights upright row style. Probably described it horribly but did 4 sets of 8 and PR'd the last set at 100. Did Arnold Press for shoulders 3 sets of 8 at 40, 50, 55 db. Absolutely exhausted. Prop injection starts tonight I believe so we'll see how this goes.

Outside of the gym still having trouble with an appetite, but strangely I stayed around 195 and I should be at 190 after eating so little. But now I'm at 195 and not so much in the gut, don't feel as fat. The boil is starting to go down but very slowly, at least it's not embarassing to be in public. Other than bad indigestion all the time things are going well. The HCG continues to keep the balls in decent shape.
 
Injected prop for the first time Monday night. It went in fine but sure enough waking up my right leg felt as though somebody shot it.

Took Tuesday off for rest and worked out Wednesday. Did 4 sets of BB lunges at 95, 115, 135, 155 to finish, with a light warm up at the beginning. Luckily the injection soreness had no effect on the workout. Then finished up with tricep extensions 3 sets of 8, and BB curls 3 sets of 8. Also did standing calves 3 sets of 10. Later injected into the left leg. Sucked going in but the actual prop injection had no pain. Also finished the bottle of Superdrol today.

Still hovering around the 195 mark but my eating habits have really nose dived the last few weeks. Also have another amp of HCG on the way so the balls can rest easy.
 
Injections for Prop on Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday's one was not as bad as Monday's the next day but Friday's sucked, I have been walking with a limp ever since. Next injection is later tonight.

Last night's workout stunk. Did Incline 4 sets of 8 at 125, 155, 185, and 7 reps at 205. At least the spotter was decent this time. My poor eating and sleeping habits the last couple weeks appear to have caught up to me. Did three sets of pull-ups at 7, 8, and somehow 11. Really felt locked in on the last set. However when I was doing the second set of DB lat raises I pinched a nerve in my neck and had to stop. It's something that happens off and on for about a year now. So right now I am pretty beat up and in pain. After that mess rested in the jacuzzi at the gym which definitely helped even if for a short period of time.

Weight has dropped a bit, down to 190. It's not all bad but the next couple weeks I really got to push and get back on track eating wise. Also I am due to take a couple of physical tests for some jobs in the beginning of August so some cardio will likely be added here in the next few days. One thing's for sure, I hate Prop, but maybe the next couple shots won't be as bad. Really starting to get tired of poking myself.
 
Injection on Tuesday like the one Sunday stunk. I am not warming up to Test Prop. I have been unable to do leg workouts because of the pain and have been fortunate to even walk.

Tried to max out on bench today and it was a disaster. Went to another gym to lift with a friend, one that isn't as nice. Maxed out at 240, piss poor form going down but still got the PR. Almost had 250 but crapped out right around the middle point. I could name a few excuses today but bottom line is I sucked. Next week I'll try again and get 250 for sure. Did a back exercise and after that I left. I've had a splitting headache all day and blowing ass at bench press I conceded defeat for the day.

Behind on injection since I didn't do it last night, so doing it tonight. Luckily the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) arrived so the balls will stay a respectable size. Got about one week to go so can make one final push with weight lifting before it's all said and done. That said, if the Prop continues to be this painful the leg workouts aren't going to be pretty.
 
Did legs and arms on Saturday. Had a good bounce back on squats and PR'd on the last set with 8 reps @ 315. For arms did French Press 10 reps at 50, 60, 70. Did not want to push it too hard and this exercise really ate up my elbows. Did BB Bicep curls 10 reps at 55, 65, 75. Barely got through the arms because of fatigue. I don't know if it's the heat or what but I run out of gas so fast lately it really is ridiculous. Good thing I got it done that morning because my leg of course got even more sore and there is no way I could have done legs today. So the Prop is still causing a great deal of soreness.

Have had a little trouble lately with tiny pimples around the chin area of my face but that could be due to the heat wave we've experienced over the last week. The sweat and oil from the pores don't help. Not sure when next workout will be, guessing Tuesday. Will probably go light for the next two workouts and push hard in a week when the cycle ends.

How have you felt backoading SD? I have considered doing that maybe...on my next cycle with Test.

I would recommend it. I felt it did give me a little help when I wanted. I noticed a couple of side effects in terms of an itchy feeling when I urinated (it did go away) and felt more fatigued than normal, but considering it helped strength wise it was worth it.
 
Injections continue to suck. Have one more before it's all over. :( I'm sad for the cycle to come to an end. That said, prop continues to cripple me and it does not seem as though the soreness is getting any better. I was hoping to involve prop in my next cycle in the future but I don't think it's going to happen after these last couple weeks.

Did upper body last night and improved slightly. For incline bench did 8 reps at 135, 165, 185 and 9 reps at 205, a one rep improvement and moved up in the other sets. Also PR'd on one of my weaker exercises, Lat Pulldowns. Did 8 reps at 130, 140 160 170, old PR was 160. Did db lat raises at 8 reps at 25 30 35. Finished with db shrugs 3 sets of 10.

As for legs it will be unlikely I can do them tonight or tomorrow so I'll probably store up for one final push on squats in a few days. Still hovering around 190ish.
 
Well injections are all over. It's been about four days now and am now on post cycle therapy (pct). It's nice to be able to sit and walk around without any pain. Stupid Prop. Did Bench Press a few days ago and PR'd. In my previous entry I was angry that I finished at 240, but tonight did 250, 260, and 265 to finish. Very happy with that increase. Overall I increased bench press around 30 lbs since the last time I tried which was a while ago and pre cycle. Finished up the workout with some sort of back row thing and PR'd in that as well. Gave my shoulders a rest after maxing on bench and finished the night with db shrugs.

I will put up some before and after pics in the next day or two. Also during the cycle I did not use creatine, hoping that when I go off cycle it will give me a bit of a boost and will help keep some of the weight I've gained.

Yesterday did legs, 4 sets of lunges at 8 reps and no drop off in weight, finishing BB lunges at 155. Did 3 sets of 8 hammer curls and pulled off a few more reps at the end than I normally do. Finished with some calves and forearms. One thing I did notice is I did not get as fatigued as I have been during exercise.

This morning I feel a little sore, something I haven't felt in quite a while. It sure is nice though to have no more Prop. Weight has dropped a few pounds but nothing to be concerned with, still around 187-190 range. Otherwise sex drive feels fine, balls are doing well, I'm a little moody right now but that is probably b/c I am out of food in the house.
 
Over the weekend I had a city league softball game and a physical test for a job so I was flat out pooped. I will get to the gym later tonight and hopefully there won't be much of a dropoff.
