finally got a training partner!!

huh?
I have always trained alone, but over the past year or so I have started to think about getting a training partner, partly to help me lift heavier, but also to keep me motivated and focused on my goals.

One of the guys who works at my gym but who also trains there ,was in a similar situation, and the two of us have agreed to smash it up together.

Now that I have a partner, I have set some new goals. If I can reach them by the end of the year, I would like to enter my first powerlifting comp.
I want to hit bench-180,squat-220, dead 240
I am currently at bench 130, squat 140, dead 180, I weigh in at about 100

I know they are not huge numbers, but they are well out of my reach at the moment, and by posting them up it will keep me motivated to get em

good luck bro. training pards can make a big diff. where you live?

for squats and bench you have quit some strong goals, compared to deadlifts.
Dead +33%
bench +50%
squats +60%

I'm 6ft tall, live in Sydney(australia)
thanks nephrom, I hadn't look at it like that. My squat at the moment is lame because i have been a real pussy with it, I am sure it will go up heaps quicker than the other numbers
