Finding old post and doseage question

So I asked this question month or two ago and I was just going back to reread the post and I cannot find the post that I started under my profile but my question is common testosterone replacement therapy doses say 200 a week or 100 a week what are the resulting blood levels. I know there are many factors that play into this but what could one expect with say a dose of the 100 milligrams of testosterone cypionate a week or 200 mg per week? Sorry to ask again but I couldn't find the post that I started by searching me or any posts I've made.

My doctor has me on 150mg Test-Cyp a week. I was originally on 300mg every two weeks and wanted to shift to one shot a week (to smooth out the cycles) and his assistant messed up and told me to stay on 300mg per week instead of cutting it in half. My test level was 1200+ (meaning off the chart). I have not received my copy of the blood work yet, but the urologist called me immediately when he got the results all in a panic. I told him about the mess up with dosing (his assistant did not think to tell him about it) and he felt relieved, though he wants more blood tests done in 4 more weeks to make sure everyone drops to where he expected it to be.

He expects my Test to be around 600 or so when it levels out.

400-1500ng/DL is what I would say the 100-200mg/week common range is. But like you said there are a lot of variables.

80 mg/week split into 2 injections and my total test stays in a nice 800 to 900 range. But most people would have lower test levels with that dose.

My apologies for the thread hijack, but I don't have enough posts to PM.

I'm a NoVA resident as well and have had a very hard time finding a good doctor in the area. Most seem to be very happy with my total T just above 300. Would you care to share how you went about finding a competent doctor around here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't know how much longer I can handle these symptoms.

I don't think I can really help. My doctor doesn't ordinarily do TRT, but suggested it in my case for osteoporosis. She is quite happy with test at the top or range, but worries about PSA and hemocrit. She also is not accepting new patients.

Ahh I see, no worries at all. That's great that you already had a relationship with this doctor too. And it certainly sounds like she knows what she's doing in terms of treatment. She's a rare sight around these parts...which is weird because there are a billion doctors in the NoVA area...ah well.
