First Cycle, Help With Inject

Ok guys here goes. I have done a lot of research for this first cycle; what would be best for a first time cycle, length, etc. Ran into a problem this past weekend doing first inject of Test E...gf is a nurse and knows how to inject, etc, basically can do it all when it comes to drawing it up, making sure everything runs smoothly with that side of it. we got the pins in the mail, 23g 1", but ran into a problem. She drew up the Test E out of the ampoule and we prepared to inject in right delt. everything went smoothly, aspirated, and then went to inject and the needle and the hub came out of the syringe and spilled the test everywhere. she mentioned that she had to push pretty hard on the plunger to even get the test to go anywhere, so basically I'm asking if this is common? what can we do to not let this happen again? I would think 23g is definitely suitable for this type of inject, but didn't know what you guys had to say about this.

I'm sure practically everyone here is more knowledgeable about such things than me but I'll chime in with my $0.02 for shits and giggles..

I always find that needles / syringes are loose when you open then and I always give them a twist to tighten them up.

Next time why not try squeezing a few drops into the bathroom sink to see if its going to explode again!

23g is fine even with the thickest oils. I let it take 20 seconds or so for a cc with a 23. As a nurse maybe your gf is used to injecting a water-based cc into someone in a couple seconds.

Another tip - maybe I'm just a pussy but to make the injection painless I never inject with the same needle I draw with. The rubber dulls the needle a bit.

^ that is all good insite... You can make the oil go faster if you heat it up a bit... also the 23 ga is actually a bit big for the delts... for some people... a 25 works pretty well too. Try heating it up and see how it goes... tell her not to go all Hulk on the plunger.

Thanks for the info guys. I told her what you guys suggested and she agrees, so next time we will make sure to do that. She said most of her clinical injects were all water-based lol, I told her this is will be good practice :laugh4:

Warm up oil for a min or so in a warm cup of water, Use a 21g to draw oil out of vial, replace with a 25g 1". When you are ready to inject have your GF insert slowly, aspirate and if it's all good put pressure on the plunger and the oil will slowly go into the muscle.

I use 25g 1" for delts and it takes a few times for the muscle to get use to it but after several pins it will go in easier.

Just take your time and don't try to shove it in in 5 seconds, should take at least 20-30 seconds using a 25g Pin.

And to reduce any pain, have a nice hot shower befor hand so the muscle is relaxed, it will be much less painfull, trust me.
