First Cycle - Pls Critique!

Hi guys,

Been reading for a while now. Thinking of a first cycle.

Few details:
30 yrs
5' 8"
165 lbs
20% bf (bulking right now)
Around 1 and half years of serious training
Have done a lot of cardio and body weight exercises when I was a teen (continued till my early twenties).
Started working out recently (year and a half) and lost a lot of BF and gained about 12 lbs of muscle.

Read a lot on various forums and books, and thinking of running a cycle in a couple of months' time (after my BF has dropped to 17-18%). Have gathered all the supplies needed for the cycle (all genuine stuff).

Weeks 1 - 12:
Test-E (Testoviron Depot)500mg/week - 250mg x 2 (Mon and Thur)
HCG 500iu per week - 250iu x 2 (Tue and Fri)
Arimidex (Armatroz) 0.25mg EOD
Nolvadex 10mg ED

Weeks 13 and 14:
Arimidex (Armatroz) 0.25mg EOD
Nolvadex 10mg ED

PCT:
Weeks 15 - 18:
Day1 300mg Clomid + 20mg Nolvadex
Day 2-11 100mg Clomid + 20mg Nolvadex
Day12-21 50mg Clomid + 20mg Nolvadex

Post PCT:
DAA - 3gms per day for 3 weeks
Natural Test Booster - One Cycle

Side Effects:
1. Extra Nolva and Arimidex on hand for use on cycle in case of gyno.
2. Over the counter acne and skin creams.

Syringes:
18g 1-1/4" for drawing
24g 1-1/4" for injection
Insulin syringes for HCG
Plenty of Alcohol Swabs

Nutrition:
Protein 300gms per day (6 protein drinks + Meat)
Carbs 300 gms per day (Sweet potatoes, Oatmeal, Brown Rice)
Fats 75 gms per day (Cheese, Peanut Butter, Olive Oil)

Planning to take a mass gainer shake to reach the macros.

Approx. calorie intake: 3,500 per day

Supplements:
BCAAs 20gms per day
Glutamine 20gms per day
Strong multivitamins
Strong Joint Support
Calcium
Liv 52
Milk Thistle
Fish Oil

Additional Vitamins:
Vitamin B6, B12
Vitamin C

Training:
Planning to do German High Volume on cycle (to increase muscle mass).
During PCT - Heavy Weights Low Reps (focus on Squats, Bench Press, Shoulder Press, Deadlifts)

Blood Panel:
Test (Free and Total), Estradiol, Lipid Profile, Liver Values, etc.
1. 1 week before cycle
2. 4 weeks into cycle
3. Just before PCT
4. Post PCT

I have few doubts though:

1. Is it necessary to run Nolva on cyle (weeks 1 - 12) if I am running Arimidex 0.25mg eod on cycle?

2. I dont want my testes to shut down, hence HCG on cycle (Weeks 1 - 12). Should I continue till week 15 (before my pct)?

2a (4). Weeks 13 and 14 - Is it necessary to take Amex and Nolva?

3. Is my PCT schedule fine? Should I run pct for 4 weeks?

4. Is it too much to take 300mg of Clomid on day 1 of PCT?

5. Should I stop creatine while on cycle and pct?

6. Finally, the most important of all - Should I train for another year before beginning my first cycle. I am not sure about this?

1) just the arimidex is fine 2) would be good to use although your just running a first cycle and very basic should be fine having on hand but other will suggest you use it (its a never ending debate with hcg) 3) yes pct look fine 4) yes I would go 100mg/100/50/50 5) I am running creatine in my preworkout drink and no problems here 6) this is more of a personal choice if you fell like you have it go for it bro you have put this together better than most noobs here so thats good

Last thing I wanna say get rid of the 6 shakes a day you need no more than 2 get your diet in check before you start 80% diet brother remember that if you wanna make good gains and keep them diet is key there is a diet section here you can ask 3J for some advice or just get in one one of his plans I am doing a 6month with him now its challenging but I have a great feeling its going to take me where I want to go as long as you stick with it cheers bro hope this helps
 
First Gyno is not the only side effect of High Estrogen, you can read all this on this forum:
Gynecomastia
Anxiety & panic attacks
Depression
Erectile dysfunction
Water retention
High blood pressure
Loss of balance/instability/dizziness
Respiratory related concerns
Irritability
Low libido
Insomnia
Prostate related issues


1. Don't run Nolva on cycle, it's for PCT
2. You are going to shut down, but you'll be ok, others not me will help with HCG
4. Yes run Arimidex but not Nolva
#4 again 300mg of Clomid is to much and why would you do this.
5. Keep up the Creatine with some protein supplements
6. It would be a good idea to train for another year. At 1-1/2 years you are just beginning and you really don't have much of a foundation. You should train longer before you start. You should have close to 2-1/2 to 3 yrs. IMOP

That's the beginning of what I see right off

PS: Did I miss your labs? what about labs??

The advice above is solid. Train another 1.5 years or so natural. Get you BF down to 15% or lower. This will also help to reduce sides.
IMHO at 20% you should be cutting or recomping, not bulking.
Hire 3J with the cash you save from waiting to buy AAS.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will read the diet sections in more detail. Have gone through few of 3J's diet plans. Will explore more.

Planning on blood work before, during and after the cycle (Free Test, Total Test, Lipid Profile and Estradiol).

Regarding Clomid, I got this plan of PCT (300mg one day, 100mg for 10 days and 50mg thereafter) from the sticky.
Will read more to figure out if this is necessary.

I don't understand at all. Please, ya know 15-16% body fat is still high. You say you are bulking at a BF% of 20%. Did I get that right? You will then bring your BF% BACK down and only to 15 %. Why not live at 11-12%. You are playing with BF tissue not water. If I got you right BF%. Once a person allows themselves to get big, meaning fat tissue you then have the tissue and t can and will gain back very easily.

You seem to have this idea that it's ok to play with BF% just go up and down and for one it will get tougher as life goes on as well as IT IS NOT HEALTHY.

What at 20% I am guessing you are not an ectomorph, what are you mesomorphs or endomorphs I am curious? If you are not an ecto the ability to get your BF% down to a decent # gets can be hard. Good luck though

I believe I am an endo-meso (more endo). Not sure though.

I used to believe I was an ectomorph, because I use to run a lot (basketball and marathons in high school). Moreover I weighed only 120lbs for a long time (till I was 24 yrs old). I stopped running and started eating heavy after that and I gained a lot of weight in 3-4 years.

Now after weight training, dropped a lot of body fat. Now in the middle of a bulk and I am eating like there is no end. BF went from 16 to 20.
 
You BF% is way too high for cycling. Be prone to many sides, BP, Gyno, fatigue see the list I posted . The higher your BF the more the POSSIBLE sides. Also 15,16.20 % is not a good hard n vascular look for a BB.
