First "Real" Cycle-Extra Suggestions Appreciated

Okay, so I just started my first real stack. I am 24 years old. I have been lifting seriously for about 6 years. Had to take January of '06 to about Jan of '07 off for a grade I AC separation. I am 5'10" and about 180 pounds. Body fat is, I don't know, probably around 15% or so. I did an amateur 8 week cycle of Deca about a year ago. I did not research like I should have, but did it, and my PCT. About 4 months ago I did a 45 day cycle of winni, then got really sick and didn't start my actual stack. After some time off, I just got done with a 45 day of winni to prep my body and joints, and just started my Deca/Test cycle. Deca 1cc 300MG every 4 days, and test 350MG every seven days. I have read a lot on this forum, and have a training partner who is helping walk me through this as well. I have my test set as 111223322111 for the pyramid. I eat about 175-200 g of protein each day, split in six meals, and about 35-60g of carbs for about the first four meals of the day, with a generally low amount of fats. I hope I have provided enough information, and would like any input or suggestions from any experience out there. Thanks so much.
 
Hey man, thanks for the feedback. The test I have is Test E. it was the type recommended by the gentleman of expertise with the deca that I got from him. Now, fortunately I am one of those guys that like to know why I do things when I do. Why is it better to just shoot both of them twice a week rather than pyramid the test. Doesn't test stay effective in the body for about 8 days? I went through and tried to read all the newbie stuff, but some of it was a bit over my head, so please bear with me, and I definitely appreciate the reply and replies that anyone else might have as far as input or validation on these subjects. thanks so much.

After some time off, I just got done with a 45 day of winni to prep my body and joints 6 weeks of winni to prep your body and joints? where on earth did you get this idea? did you run post cycle therapy (pct) after or go straight to your test and deca? , and just started my Deca/Test cycle. Deca 1cc 300MG every 4 days, and test 350MG every seven days this is not a good cycle. at the very least you should shoot test E every 3-4 days, and you should have more test in the mix . I have read a lot on this forum, and have a training partner who is helping walk me through this as well. I have my test set as 111223322111 for the pyramid you shouldn't pyramid your dosing schedule, just keep it constant. I eat about 175-200 g of protein each day not enough protein, try to double that, split in six meals, and about 35-60g of carbs for about the first four meals of the day you need more carbs than that if you want to grow, with a generally low amount of fats. suggestions in bold. seems like an ill designed cycle to me but im sure your gonna do it anyways. hope it works out for you.
 
DarkCurse, thank you for the suggestions. I appreciate it man. The reason I posted was because the guy that was helping me had me start this that was somewhat contradictory to some things I had been reading on this site. I will shoot my test along with the days I shoot my deca twice a week, as well as up the protein and carb intake. thanks for the input, i appreciate it much.
