I've noticed that guys that are stronger tend to like more muscular women more. I suspect that other guys feel diminished by woman that can kick their ass.

I have to admit, I'm starting to appreciate strong women much more than I used to.

I can see your point; and it might apply with some. I love the look of a nice and tight body, but not a bb woman's body. Plus, if they have strong legs, maybe they'll stay on top a lot longer and save me my energy for my workouts.
