? for guys on trt that cycle/bloodwork

I am prescribed 200mg test cyp a week but have been running a cycle of 500-750mg of cyp a week for the past 3 months. I am due for bloodwork towards the end of January/beginning of Febuary. Does anyone know how long I should be off for my test levels to come back into the normal range. Should I stop completely for a couple weeks to speed it up or just go back to my normal prescribed 200mg cyp a week. Or maybe drop it down to 100mg a week up until the test. I really want my levels to be >800 so my doc doesn't reduce my dosage. Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks y'all!

I am curious about this as well - I am taking the same dose and thinking about a cycle in the new year. I am trying to cut some BF prior to over the next two months. Already have the gear - using it as a "carrot" during the cutting. I will most likely only run 500 mg though so should be easier for me to get my levels back down.

Test Cyp's active life is 8-10 days so as soon as you lower your dose it should take about a week to start reflecting the lower dosage. So I would go back to your normal dosage about a month before your bloodwork is scheduled. This should give you plenty of time to let your test levels drop back down to normal levels.

How long have you been on TRT?
Have you had bloodwork done before after being on your prescribed dose?
The reson I ask is because it would be helpful to know what you report in at on your prescribed dose.
If you report in too low than usual the doctor may become suspicious of you trying to get a higher dose prescribed for performance reasons
It also depends on the doctors. Different doctors have different phylosophies on TRT.
They typically look for steady reporting. If your all over the place it will definitely raise eyebrows

I wouldn't recommend seeing your doctor until you've been back at your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose for four weeks. Half life doesn't equate to blood serum levels. ;) I personally get my own labwork done a week before I have my scheduled testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) blood test just to make sure I'm gtg.

My .02c :)

Thanks guys! A month was what I was thinking. I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for close to a year but this will be the first bloodwork done so I guess that's good as the dr has no baseline besides before she put me on.

A month is good advice. I reduced to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose a month and all was fine....except my hemacrit and red blood levels are high now. OP might consider donating blood.
