When not trying to shred...just lean mass how do you feel about fruits and 100%fruit juce (no sugar added) the sugars are high but they are natural are they used in the body the same as other simple sugars? i mean whose got fat from eating apples and drinking grape juice?

thoughts?

Many children are fat today and drinking fruit juices has played a substantial role. Juices are good but yes some fruits are high in sugar, I prefer to eat fruits earlier in the day so I will use most of the carbs as fuel. If you are in a cutting phase I would definitely minimize the intake of sweet fruits--there is a chart out there that tells how high certain foods are on the glycemic index, find those fruits lower in the glycemic index they will also have less sugar content.

true. juice your own fruits and veggies. no processed added .just the natural stuff. the fruit is not what will make you fat. just keep the diet in order, stay away from crap and juices are fine with out the fructose crap.

Isn't the sugar in fruits fructose?

fruit = fructose :scratchhe

fruit is fine even when trying to lose bodyfat. fruit juice is generally flavored sugar water, and you miss out on the fiber.

grapefruit, apples, berries, oranges, peaches are all fine.

imo if we stay away from the processed juices and stay with the natural stuff it is much better for us. i have had good success including fruits and natural juices i juice myself (all organic) in my diet, i cut them out after about 5pm, or so and i always juice my own. i will pick juice over soda or beer anyday.

i do not think we ned to eliminate fruits and juices from our diets. i think the processed shit food is the prob.

I eat fruit when leaning out. 2 pieces of fruit at the most though. I don't overdo it.

Fruit has great nutritional content. I wouldn't cut it out. Maybe close to contest time and that's about it.

The best fruit.....berries. A shitload of antioxidants. I always put berries in my cottage cheese.

yeah i don't like all this 100% juice from concentrate crap....i also like fruit as it is a natural way to get a load of vitamins and all that good healty stuff....

high fructose corn syrup additives vs. natural fruit

i was saying i think natural fruit is a much better option than juice pumped full of crap. and that is true.

Eating fruit in the original form is also great for fiber!
