Fyre, Faye - Pls Critique "Cutting" plan

Hi Girls,

Started my cutting phase yesterday, can you please critique this...

1 - 5 egg whites, 1 yolk 1/2 Cup of Oatmeal
2 - 1 Scoop Whey Shake, 1 tsp natty PB
3 - 4 Oz Chicken Breast, 1/2 Cup of Yams
4 - Same as 3
5 - 1 Scoop Whey Shake
6 - 6 Oz Fish (Salmon, Cod, or Tuna) 1 Cup of Green Veggies

Drinking H20 is tough, trying to get to 4L...currently at 3.

Should I replace the yams with veggies?
Should I drop the PB and add in Udo's...?

Supplements -
Multivitamin, ZMA, Clenbutical, and ALA

I have my macros at home...at work now, I will post them later...

I like it but I will let the ladies comment on the questions you asked.

I am curious as to when you are training? As in what point of the day. Only reason I ask that is because if you are training in the morning and your 2nd meal is your post-workout meal, you may want to get rid of the natty peanut butter as Atherjen mentioned to me in the past about how it is not very beneficial to have fats ingested with your post workout protein shake as it slows down the protein absorbtion.

Thankkkkk you Biggie! I'm actually lifting in the evening...between my whey and my fish/veggies...

Think the order of that should be reversed?
Seems to be going good so far...I did am cardio this morning though, and I feel like I'm super hungry all day! :rolleyes:

I think it looks really good. I see approx. 90 grams of protein not including the 2 whey protein shakes so with the protien shakes your protein amount seems to be alright. The carbs look really clean and the daily amount seems good for the diet. Personally, considering that you seem to be giving it your all, I would sub the PB with UDO's. Or, if the PB is somewhat of your "treat", then try almond butter instead -- my nutritionist explained to me how much more efficient almond butter is compared to natty PB but I honestly couldnt verse it out for you but his concepts were sharp and made sense. I could maybe have him email me a comparison and post it up at some point.

Personally, I would keep the amount of yams and veggies right where they are. I have found that some amateur bodybuilders that I know stay totally away from greens during dieting as they call them "useless calories". They feel that they can get what they want from the veggies (ie. vitamins, etc.) from vitamin and mineral supplements and would rather eat yams/rice/oatmeal for the energy effect that those carbs give that they feel veggies do not. Not that I am endorsing what some of them have said, but just putting it out there. But as far as you're concerned, I think you have the right mix in there. Only thing I would maybe do, and I think Fyre might think so too, is add some more good fats in there.

Its such a crap shoot though because I dont really know how your body is reacting, or will react, to this type of diet.


Im doing fine, thanks for asking. Its hectic here as Im moving on June 1st but once its all over and Im settled in, Im sure normalcy will return and Ill be able to spend some more time on the board. Email me whenever, you know the addy.
 
Update: I'm going to be keeping with this plan until sunday then heading into a carb cycle plan . It will be interesting!!

Hey Brenny. It looks good but I would add in a tablespoon of Udo's Oil in there. What time is meal 6 at? And is meal 5 your preworkout meal?
If so, I would add some oats in there. And if meal 5 is your preworkout meal, then meal six is ur post workout meal? Or do you have a protein/dextrose shake following your workout and then have meal 6? sorry about all the questions...hehehe
