Genetics, Steroids or both

How many times have we all heard or read that it doesn`t matter how much
gear the average person takes they will never make a pro BB because they
just don`t have the same genetics as a pro because these people are freaks.
Well is this really true?
I am going to try to throw a spanner into the works of this theory and feel
free to disagree and chip in with your own theory.
I am going to use an ex pro BB called Kevin Levrone to back up my theory.
This guy we are told has some of the best genetics in BB of all time because
he used to take long periods out of the gym and then start training 6 months
or so before a contest and arrive at the show a totally shredded monster and
yet when you look at him today or in the comedy Burning Hollywood he looks
as though he`s never competed.
Why hasn`t he kept more of his muscle?
Well I believe its not because Kevin and others like him are genetically gifted
but its because they take huge amounts of gear and they react to it slightly
better than the average gym rat and obviously his diet and training are spot on.
Look forward to other peoples views.

if he did large amounts of gear for years then stopped when he retired he might have low test now and be in need of trt leading to atrophy of muscle

and if somebody reacts better to gear than the average person that would be because their genetics allow for a better reaction to the substance

Look at the lilliebridge brothers (powerlifters) I'm sure they both run the same gear, but one is way stronger than the other....genetics.

if somebody reacts better to gear then its because they have more open receptors for the gear to bond to causing more of the gear to be absorbed resulting in greater more quality gains. thats why some people seem to get better results than others who run way more gear. hgh isn't going to increase the amount of receptors you have

not to mention genetics also entails better bone structure which can lead to better symmetry as muscle is added to it. hgh won't make your collarbone wider for broader shoulders

Steroids make your existing cells bigger, hgh increases the amount of cells then you take gear and
make those bigger

hgh has its own receptors that it binds to which would further my point. some people react better to hgh than others because they have more hgh receptors just like some people react better to steroids because they have more steroid receptors. the amount of receptors you have available is determined by your GENETICS

idk if your missing the point or just can't admit your wrong. nothing you can take will increase the number of receptors you have. thats genetics plain and simple

U also gotta take into consideration the mind/muscle connection. I have body parts that just don't respond like the opposite side does. People with good genetics got wider clavicles, slim waists and low tapered lats. Not everybody can get even symmetry. Gear or no gear genetics plays a role in everything. If I took all the shit bonds was taking I still couldnt hit a homer...

i try to explain that to people all the time who hate on bonds. doesn't matter what your on no amount of steroids will help you hit a 95 mph fastball everytime. not everybody can do what pro athletes do their genetics just allow them to do certain stuff others can't

I just think that sometimes we, myself included use this genetics theory
as a get out clause for our failings.
Are we really as strict with our diet as we could be and when was the last time we
through up on leg day, and I know that the amount of gear that ive taken in
my whole life is a fraction of what these guys take in a year.
