:Present:
Here is what i would do
start with 45 minutes of cardio in the morning
Have six meals..i would alternate solid and liquid meals
Have carbs early in the day and make sure they are from complex carbohydrates and keep this low
Make sure to include healthy fats which are very important.
Protein from chicken, fish and whey should be good enough.

What whey are you using? Are you using a fat burner?
Thanks
John

the whey is called perfect whey with isolate i was told that i need protein and this would help

i was thinking a shke in the morning with banana and fresh fruits

then cottage cheese and some fruits

then in the evening white chicken breast with vegies

then a shake at night

am i totally off ?

i want to loose the fat but also bulk up my arms chest and tighten up stomach

No your not that far off, you have the right idea. But the thing is you want to keep your body working and constantly burning energy. If you have 6 small meals during the day your body is always burning and never really has a down time, when you have 3 big meals it tends to hold onto some because it knows it wont be getting any for a little while.

Dont take any carbs after around 6pm. I would have most of the carbs after your workout.

Eat things like potatoes, wheat pasta, stuff like that for carbs. Good fats are nuts, avacado etc.

You should pick up a multi-vitamin, you can get one at walmart, almost a years supply for something like $8.

If you have never worked out or dieted I will tell you right now if you try to do everything at once your going to be overwhelmed and probably stop or take a break after a couple weeks or months.

I would work in slow, maybe start with cardio in the morning every other day, or do it right after your workout. You dont want to try and cut the fat and then build muscle, that makes the whole process much longer. The more muscle you build the more calories and fat you will burn to sent nutrients to and supple the muscle.

If you have any sort of diet, or training routine post it up here.

What are your goals, and stats and we will all see what we can do for you.

So today i had a shake for breakfest i mxied it with frozen rasberrys and a bana and a scoop of beanutbutter
1 cup 35 g of whey protine

In the morning i take a liquid vitamin called multi nutri by nakka

then 3 hours latter i had cottage cheese and mixed fruits

worked out then a shake

3 hours latter i had white chicken breast with mixed veggies

tonight i was gonna have a shake but i was starving and had a cup of cottage cheese

its real hard to change your eating habits wondering if at lunch i should eat a little more

oh i ran the treadmill for 15 Min's and did push ups and squats

so tell me what i can do to improve things or any better ideas on the diet please

barnz has given you good advice

Heres what i would do..
have 6 meals
each meal has to have 50 g protein + 15 g fat
so for example 50 g whey + 25 peanuts or 1.5 tbsp peanut butter

1 chicken breast with 30 g almonds

Never run for cardio..ull burn muscle.. rather walk at 3.5 mph for 30-45 minutes.
i would say weight training is optional for weight loss.

Hope this helps
Thanks
John

Do you know how to train? If you want all this to work you really need to train and get that down too.

If your trying to drop fat then this really isnt that bad, you are def. in a calorie deficit which will make you lose weight. But it will also be tough to gain as much muscle as if you were eating a ton.

You can pick up some fish and flax seed oils, they both are very good fatty acids. They both also help speed up the burning of fat

i want to start going to the gym every day or every other just to get a routine and to get out. say i do the tred mill at 3.5 for a half an hour then do some weights and some sit ups could i do that?

also should i have a shake after or 50 mg with a light meal?

also should i boil then chicken thats what i have been doing

Yeah I boil my chicken. I also took a little olive oil and some wheat germ and mixed it in, that was pretty good if you want to try that.

Do the cardio after you lift, after you work out your body is low on glycogen and doing cardio then causes your body to use its reserves.

situps are fine, every day or every other day. If you have never lifted before you really need someone to show you what to do and how to lift.

We can make you a routine if you would like, but you still will have to know how to do them.

I know it seems tough and after you start you might hate it, stick with it and push through and I promise you will not regret it.

Give it a few months, you won't be able to live without it and it will just be second nature. Just stay dedicated and keep pushing.

Feel free to ask any questions no matter how dumb you think they may be

I agree with you on most posts but this is just wrong.

you burn more energy while running but if you have any clue about what you are eating you don't have to lose muscle.

your right you burn more energy but if your heart is above 130(in hte case while running) you will lose muscle.
To lose fat..you have to be in 120-130 BMR which is achieved by reducing your cardio.
It is best to do cardio for a longer time and lesser intensity than high intesnsity and less time

any studies to back that up??

most people will burn very little energy at 120-130 heartrate. at a higher heartrate you burn a higher percentage of carbs but alot more energy so you might still end up with burning more. and the more aerobicly fit you are the more fat you can burn at a higher intensity.

stop for one second and think about this...you need to do more than walk to burn calories that you want....if you keep your heart rate under 130 yes, 50% of the calories you burn will be from fat...however, when you heart raises above 130 you will be burning 40% of calories into fat. so now do the math:
lets say you worked out for 10 min and burned 200 calories working out with a heart rate of 130 or below: you will burn 100 calories of fat and 100 of muscle.
now lets say you did the same time but because you are working out on a more intense rate, you will most likely burn at least 300 thats 120 calories of fat.

the best way to burn fat and stay lean and strong is to perform interval training. I have been training hard with a great diet with NO supplements for about 3 months strong now. I havnt lost one pound but i keep dropping in pants sizes and my shirts are fitting tight in all the right places and baggy in all the right places.
