Getting the protein in

Here is a simple tip that is invaluable for some people and one I use daily. Many people simply don’t keep track of what they ate very well, or even have a good idea about what the day’s diet is going to consist of. Number one thing to ensure is that protein needs are taken care of. Here is a simple way to keep track.

Go buy some of the cheap Tupperware or Ziplock plastic food containers in a reasonably small size. I have the ziplock ones that are about 3 bucks at any big grocery chain.

First thing in the morning I set out the amount of meat I am going to eat and the amount of whey I am going to take goes into the food containers. If it’s going to be a 500 gram day 2-1/2 pounds of meat goes on the top shelf of the fridge and 250 grams of protein in the containers. I DO NOT STOP EATING UNTIL I AM DONE AND IF BEDTIME COMES AND THERE IS MORE TO EAT, THAT WILL BE DONE WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

Pretty simple huh. Makes a HUGE difference for many.

exactly the same thing here

2 huge containers of rice, 1 container of egg salad, 1 container of vegetable stirfry.... usually make that 2 times a week

meats easy - 5 to 10 minutes on G foreman
potatoes are easy - 10 minutes in microwave

i carry protein jugs and shaker cups in my car too, so i can make sure that i get a good 40-60 grams of whey protein every few hrs
