got blood work results in today, one of the numbers I'm curious about is glucose. it's within "normal" values, but it's still a little higher than I expected since I don't eat any sugar products and really very little simple carbs.
doc days that everything gets converted down to glucose, so my question is.. could being on a high calorie diet equal a higher than normal glucose level in the blood?
also, anyone know how "normal" levels are determined? there's nothing normal about a bodybuilder (that's the point, right?) so what are "normal" levels for glucose, protein (total serum), hdl, etc for bodybuilder?
thanks for any info.
