Just curious, is this a good diet for a girl who's about 120lbs at 5'3 looking to cut some more?? Friend of mine is trying to cut maybe 10lbs to go for a little more of a ripped look.

Breakfast Option 1: Cup of oatmeal with 3-6 eggs (whites preferred)
Option 2: Protein shake with PowerBar/Cliff Bar

Snack Protein Shake with a PowerBar/Cliff Bar
Handful of almonds with a piece of fruit

Lunch 4-5oz of grilled tilapia with a half cup of pasta/noodles
4-5oz of grilled chicken breast with a cup of veggies

Snack Protein shake (post workout)

Dinner 4-5oz of grilled, lean steak with one cup of veggies
4-5oz of lean turkey breast with a piece of fruit

Snack PowerBar/Cliff Bar

Id cut out all the cliff bars, and only have protein shakes post workout. Everything else eat wholesome real foods. You'll see a difference.

The same tenets of male nutrition apply to female nutrition. If she's wanting to cut BF calculate BMR and from there and an activity factor get the TDEE. To cut subtract 10-20% of the calories and that's your cutting calories. She will need a minimum of 1g/lb BW of protein and .3-.4g/lb BW fat. The rest can come from any macro or any combination of the 3. Best to get the macros from a diet composed of minimally process and whole foods due to micronutrient sufficiency.

You don't list macro totals for those meals but I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't getting enough dietary fat intake. Fats are important to females for hormone production and menstrual cycles so cutting them out completely or severely restricting them for prolonged periods of time can have many negative health consequences.
