Cam....you need to put in what the normal ranges are so we can make a comparison. Most people here don't know what ranges are normal/low/high.

And if you were going to die your doctor would have immediately sent you to a hospital or started treating you, etc.

from the looks of it you have about a week to live.

ha

But srsly, your HDl and total ratio sucks and id be more worried about that. Your liver will repair itself rather quickly if you let it. You can megadose with niacin to improve your HDL, it does work. I took mine from 19 to 33 in about 18 months. But you need to lay off the gear that is bad for HDL and liver which includes most orals.

Lay off the gear? I've never geared! So you're saying I should wait till that repairs its self? What can I do to fasten the process?? Thanks a mill, bro. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I just looked it up. My good cholesterol levels.. They are down. He mentioned that as well.. He said to eat more peanut butter, and more fish and it'll help. I eat a lot of fish. I'm confused

An ideal cholesterol/hdl ratio is 3.5:1 and when it gets higher than 5:1 you are considered high risk for coronary disease. Yours is almost 4 times ideal and almost 3 times the limit. Not good. The longer your ratio is high and your HDL is low, the more plaque build up youre going to get in your arteries. HDL is your good cholesterol and its job is to remove plaque. Im seriously surprised your doc didnt flip his lid when he saw your ratio.

Like i said, i raised mine over 18months which may seem like a long time but i contiuned to use gear, i just stayed away from orals and AI's and i did a couple courses of Niacin therapy and of course i ate well. I also have no family history of cholesterol issues so genetics were on my side.

However, my ratio was only 6:1 because my total cholesterol and LDL were much lower than yours so i wasnt overly concerned. And even though my HDL is still considered low at 33, my ratio is now a little under 5:1 so im even less worried now.

Its your health bro. Your hdl will repair itself much faster than 18 months if you totally lay off the gear but if you stay on, at least stay away from the orals, get some niacin, and watch your diet. Limit fatty foods and eat lots of oats and def keep an eye on your blood work every 6 months or so to make sure its improving.

niacin and clean diet! Capish! Thanks, brother! I haven't done any gear! I was planning on starting a cycle in a month or so, but if you say I should clear this up, that's what I will do!

Again, Thanks a mill.
I'm gonna look for "niacin" on ebay. Or where can I get me some?

No problem.

Niacin is also known as B3 and its in the vitamin section at your grocery store. I took 2000 milligrams a day for 30 days.

Im sure your doc did the same thing as my doc. He looked at me and said this guy is in good shape and lean and his total cholesterol is really good so the hdl must be a mistake. my doc was more concerned when i returned in 6 months and found out it was legitimately low.

Out of curiosity, what have you been running for gear and also have you been using any anti estrogens?

No gear, no estrogen! I took some pro magnum25 for a month. A 17aa chemical.
But I stopped a month ago.

Its expensive because its flush free. The flushing really isnt that big of a deal, it comes and goes in a few seconds and it only happens every now and then. I paid $5 for 2 bottles which was enough for 30 days at 2000mg a day. That $31 dollar bottle is only gonna last you 8 days. Its your money though.

That explains it.

Can you give me the brand you get and where you get it? CVS etc.? I will go buy it tomorrow. Thanks again! It's awesome you can get this type of help from a perfect stranger..

What about post cycle therapy (pct)? They're Aromatase inhibitor (AI). What do I do?

Nolvadex and CLomid are SERM's, not AI's. Theres a big difference. They dont have any estrogen lowering effect.

In fact, nolva has been shown to actually be beneficial to HDL.
