Grocery store peanut oil?

Is it necessary that I get "USP grade" sterile oils, or can I just pick up some peanut oil from the grocery store with no additives and sterile filter it?

filter it you self and you can use crisco if you like.

I have used peanut oil from the grocery store for a long time and never had any problems.

I've always used 100% veg oil from the store then heat and filter it never used usp oils

usp oils run about 12 bucks a gallon. very cheap. sesame seed, cotton seed, grape seed, etc.....
