I am 42 years old. I started Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) 12 months ago year because, like so many other men my age, I was experiencing terrible anxiety, depression, lack of energy, poor sleep, reduced sex, etc. I used to force myself to go to the gym, and I was extremely disappointed with the fact that it had become almost impossible to make any decent muscular gains. I could no longer bear feeling like shit, so after a bit of research I sought out the advise of a reputable doctor who specializes in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). After one year on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) I can tell you that I am extremely happy with the decision I made. I feel as though I missed out on so much. I should have started sooner. I am especially surprised about the incredible gains I have been making in the gym. I am not a bodybuilder. I am just an average guy. I never did steroids in my life. I never got into that stuff, the culture, etc. Now that I am on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), however, I think I understand why so many people begin to use steroids and why so many (especially youngsters) end up getting addicted to them. I have started become curious about the safe use of these substances for maximizing gains at the gym (including the esthetic benefits), and that is how I came across the website and this forum.
I read a lot of the posts in this forum and it seems that many people started HRT/TRT because they previously abused steroids and their natural production of testosterone shut down. Am I correct in making this assumption?
If that it the case I would like to hear more about your experiences. How did it all start? What happened?
I am currently injecting .3 ml of 200mg/ml test cypionate twice a week. I have been doing this for a year. My test levels (both total and free) are just fine. Other hormone levels are all within range. I take 1/2 tablet (0.5mg) of Anastrozole every day, and I use Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) troches (the ones that melt under your tongue). I also take DHEA, pregnenolone, and a bunch of other natural supplements.
I recently noticed my testicles started to shrink. I was scared shit and I told my doctor about it. He reminded me that it is pretty normal (he had been asking me to pay attention to this). He prescribed injectable Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) (as opposed to the troches I have been taking). I will be picking it up next week.
Can you guys tell me about your experiences and/or comments or opinions regarding Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) troches vs injectable?
