little help with a diet plan...i want to consume 250-300 protein...i have an understanding about what are food high in protein like tuna, egg whites, lean meats, and chicken. But i would like you guys to give me a run around on the amount of grams of protein in chicken, steak, and eggs..and what would be a good eating schedule to up my protein intake to meet my goals of atleast 250 gms. Im recently only consuming about 150-200 gms a day which is shit for muscle growth. Im weighing 190 lbs not sure about body fat, and 6'2 1/2.

Worrying about how much protein/weight is in a food is a neurosis and will likely cause stress and cause you to make bad decisions. An example would be eating egg whites instead of the whole egg since egg whites are "high in protein." You're missing out on a lot by not eating the yolk.

How do you get more protein without doing that? Just eat more meat and eggs...I dunno what else to tell ya.

Don't try to live by a certain formula, just consume more high protein foods, milk, eggs, meat, fish. Being too rigid in your diet takes all the enjoyment out of bodybuilding, simply learning which foods are high in protein, or fat or carbs, and adjusting your diet according to that knowledge is the best way to deal with diet. I find it almost impossible to keep track of the numbers, so I try to be a bit more intuitive about my diet.

Meat is about 7g/protein per ounce.

If you can't eat more food, or aren't a big eater, drink shakes, like Stone Cold says.
