diet coke might work it has acid as well and many people use beer .
one of the best ways to get a more tender piece of meat is useing time . dont laugh , whan you read the signs at many of the steak places you will see them bragging about "AGED BEEF " what that means to us dumb folks is they cook it just before it goes bad because the ageing is the meat breaking down [ decomposeing lol ] . the good news is one of the easiest ways to do this is check the butcher shops and meat depts for steaks with a " reduced for quick sale " tag on them , you get aged beef and a bargain at the same time . take it home that day and marinate it overnight with your choice of W sauce , vinegar , coke , beer , steak sauce , etc. and cook it the next day . i personnaly use 2 forks to repeatedly puncture the steaks as im douseing it with marinade to allow the marinade to get into the meat but some people think this is blasphemy lol .
Sounds Super. I can always use a good recipe. Also please tell me how much of what to use. Im retarded like that and will add one peice of steak to a 2 liter of coke.
Or if moneys not an issue you can try to find prime beef. Thats stuff is so tender you dont need to marinade it in anything. My butcher has diesel shell steaks of prime beef that go for 20 dollars. theres probably bout 80 grams of protein in those suckers
