how do I anchor my bands?

I just got my first pair of JS bands (purple) and I want to try them this week. What can i anchor the bands to? for bench press, squat, and deadlift?

I don't use them for deads, but it was explained to me how to do it if you don't have a jumpstretch platform, i just don't remember exactly what they said.

I will say unless you are a huge puller i would not deadlift against light bands, maybe reverse bands, but if you are not competing i would just do rack deads to isolate the upper back.
 
yeah i wouldnt pull against light bands either lol
most guys will pull against minis if you set theose up right should be around 100lbs of tension near the bottom and 220 at lockout..

i would use the purples for reverse band work
 
as far as benching goes the puprles will give you 80 on the bottom and 150 at the top..might be too much tension if your looking to do speed work..

for bench put a DB on the floor and pass the band under the handle then place both ends of the band on the bar

for squatting use 2 DB's per side..run the band under the handles pass one end of the band through the other and place band over the bar sleeve
 
thanks for the tips.
when i ordered them i didnt realize how strong they would be. i was surprised at the amount of force it takes to stretch them. this ought to be a good challenge.
