Hi,

I am trying to cut body fat right now. I am 6' 2" 215 lbs approx: 14%
body fat, 43 yrs old. I weight train 4x a week, and lately have been doing a.m. cardio before I eat. I am starting to see some results, however I am wondering if my diet is ok. This is a sample of what I'll eat today. I basically eat the same every day, I just switch foods up. My goal is to reach between 8 and 10% BF. Am I on the right track?

8:00 am: cup of coffee, cardio, jog on tread mill 6 mph for 45 min.
9:00 am : Meal 1 - 2 scoops whey, 2/3 cup quick oats an a banana in the blender. 1 multi vit, vit c
11:00 am: Meal 2 - 1 - small chicken breast, 1/2 cup cottage cheese.
2 - fish oil caps, 2 - flax caps, 1 - vit e
2:00 pm: Meal 3 - 2 - brown diiner rolls, 4 oz low fat cheese, onions and lettuce and low fat mayo.
3:00 pm: Work out
4:30 pm: Meal 4 post work out meal, same as meal 1
6:00 pm: Meal 5 - 8oz lean beef, veggies and 1 cup rice. Multi vit, vit c
8:30 pm: Meal 6 - 2 - scoops whey w/ 2 tbsp natty peanut butter.

Thats it. I hope it all make sence and I have provided enough info.

Thanks in advance for your help.

When cutting, I try to switch to meals that are not as high on the glycemic index, for example--substitute grapefruit for the banana, snacks such as beef jerky are good, more veggies less rice for your dinner, otherwise this should be an excellent cutting diet if you are working hard in the gym as well.
