Costco and Sams club here sell $2.50lb for chicken breast. $15 for 6lbs, 23g protein per 4oz.

damn u must buy some fancy stuff w/ all the fat cut off.
over here in MI it can be found for 1.50lb on sale, usually 1.70
sometimes the big groccery stores will have buy one package get one free, then i stock up

I look for sales for boneless, skinless and non-frozen chicken breasts for $1.99 pound. But it seems like I don't see those sales as much lately.

I also buy big bags of frozen ones (not the best quality...the breasts are huge) buy-one get-one-free sometimes and that ends up being something like $7 for 5 lbs of meat.

2$ a pound here also.
i also buy on sale and vac-pack then freeze it.
is there any difference in quality of fresh meat vers frozen?

There is an old man a couple of blocks from our place he raises chickens in his back yard- a fresh chicken totally cleaned is four dollars, he sells rabbits for three dollars and ducks for seven dollars.

Rabbits are and absolutely lean source of protein. Excellent. The only problem is too much bone.
