HUMUS good or bad

Well, it's mostly chickpeas and olive oil, so it'll be very high in good fats, reasonably good protein, fiber carbs, not much in the way of bad carbs. If you're on a low-fat diet, this is a no-go.

Raw beans have enzyme inhibitors in them, which is why they give you gas. That can hinder digestion a bit. However, soaking the beans first eliminates this problem. I remember eating a shitload of homemade refried beans that I soaked first, and no gas. The next day I had a little store-bought stuff (not soaked)...tons of gas.

So in small amounts it would be ok, but too much it could possibly mess up digestion (not to mention make you FART).
