Proviron is more of a hardening drug in more ways than one. Lol! It can be used to help "get it up." Or it can be used like I did when competing as a hardening drug for the stage. It's not an aromatise inhibitor.

Agreed with the meatmonkey and Rida5d. I loved Proviron during my contest prep it was brilliant.
 
Yes, but they also have an actual ai in there too. It should never be used solely as your ai. That's just asking for trouble. It's a good compound for contest prep, but if you don't compete then get a different oral
 
It doesnt have anti estorgenic activity. It is pure dht...so it shifts the androgen/estrogen ratio to a more favorable level. IN the slimmest, i mean the slimmest of cases this can help with gyno but the circumstances are so rare that androgen/estrogen ratio is the cause of gyno it is virtually useless for that purpose.

No, the most common reason is for its free-test enhancing properties, increasing the "potency" of test-based cycles. Second reason is the hardening effect. It is also a libido booster.
It is NOT an AI and do not substitute for it.
 
Its not good as used as an anti-estrogen. Best use an aromatase inhibitor if you want to address high estrogen levels.
 
Not only is it not good as an ai, I think its pretty much worthless for anything other than a short term libido boost which goes away anyway after like 10-14 days.
 
Proviron helps my AI work GREATLY. I have to normally take more AI than most. Even on TRT at 200 mg a week I was taking 1mg Adex 3x a week and E2 was on the high end. On 500mg wk I was taking Adex 1mg ED and still E2 in the 40's. I've tried to take aromasin it's basically the same for me.

I started taking 50mg proviron ED and on 500mg a week test I was taking .5 mg Adex 2x a week and my E2 came back at a 6.

I get bloods done frequently since I'm on trt and proviron helps my AI work VERY WELL. I don't want to ever come off it. I stopped taking Adex last couple weeks to get my e2 back up. I think most people who don't see how well proviron helps their AI work have either never tried it themselves and had bloods done and are just regurgitating bulllshit they hear on forums. Or they have shitty sources and not getting real proviron.

Put your money where your mouth is . Post BW pre prov and post. Also there is a big diff between prov working standalone as an effective ai and improving ai performance alongside. It shifts the androgen/estrogen balance. Any effect it directly has on e2 would be receptor competition and MINIMAL at best esp with exogenous t already being converted to dht. Also in a trt scenario where your are essentially getting to normal levels you cannot compare effects to a steroid cycle. If you can NOT use an ai in trt and just use prov..I think thas awesome and your best bet, howeveer I dont post or regurgitate bullshit. Ive used prov and had bloods done when taking it. When you are running 800mgs test it doesnt do shit to lower e2.....

I never claimed it worked as an AI standalone. I was clearly obvious in stating that it HELPED my AI. I have not ran it standalone and had bloods done, so I can't make any claims on how it works standalone. I've only used it WITH an AI. I just recently stopped my AI to bring my E2 back up, I'm not sure if I will start it back up or stay off it and get bloods done. I'm actually considering to lower the proviron to maybe 25mg ED and continue the AI. I'm not sure yet, what I'm going to do. By cutting the proviron down it would help make it last longer and cut costs so I may want to do that.

Where did the prov come in on these bloods? You arent saying at200mgs test with 2mg adex/week your e2 was in high 40's and at 500mg/week with 1mg adex plus prov your e2 was 6 are you?
If I could get away with no ai in my trt protocol id do it..esp if it meant only adding 25 or even 50mgs/prov/day.
The whole question the op was asking was if prov is an ai. It isnt. It has zero impact on aromatase and minimal to zero impact on e2 levels taken alone esp at cycling dosages. So saying people were posting bs isnt exactly accurate..everyone saying it isnt an ai and shouldnt be used in place of one is correct when referring to its use on cycle.
 
just an aside I find that your hematocrit levels were almost identical at over 2x the test dose interesting and also the diff in glucose levels is surprising 2. ARe both of these am fasted? curious. These just caught my eye. Not related to the thread at all..

OP, One more time, count on proviron/masteron as an AI , and I'll bet you will be starting on new thread about elevated E side effects...

Yes, that is exactly what I am saying.

The second screenshot of bloods in June 2013 with test levels around 800, I was NOT on proviron at this time. I was on TRT at 200mg/wk and 2mg adex/wk. I started proviron about a month later in July and have been on it since. I started my blast of 500 mg test a week around October or so, and the first screenshot of my test levels >1500 and E2 around 6 at this time I was on 50mg proviron ED.

Yeah, technically what people are saying about proviron not being an AI is correct. I shouldn't have said what people are saying is bullshit.
