hello all,

I want to start adding deadlifts to my routine.

I do the squats,leg presses, bench,etc.etc.etc.
compound exercises are my foundation

my question is " Where should I add deads?"

on leg day?
on back day?
on it's own day?

I know deads are an all around great exercise that works the legs, back, just about everything.

can I get some examples as to where YOU put your deads in YOUR routine.

thanks bros

Do conventional deads on back day and maybe some stiff-legged ones on leg day.

That's how I do it.

I run mine on leg day, right after squats, sounds nuts hay. But ATM I only run 2 working sets of 6 - 8 reps (+ warm ups) for all exercises and I find that the squats double up as a warm up for deads. I also try to avoid hitting the same muscle group twice a week (while natural) whether it be directly or indirectly as IMO this often leads to overtraining in naturals.

back day, first or last. When i do them first i do around 1-5 reps, when i do them last i try to do 2 sets of 8-10.
