My wife suffers from IBS. The problem is everything that you are taught to eat dieting basically contradicts what they tell you eat if you have IBS. She shouldn't eat red meat ect. and also protein blows her up and gives her terrible gas. Does anybody have any answers or know somebody that suffers from this and how they deal with it? Any help would be appreciated.

Basically she need to stop eating processed foods. Raw milk and pre fermented foods. Foods that aren't pasteurized or homogenized. Whole foods and animal fats. My wife switched to this diet and lost 10 pounds and all the wrinkles around her eyes went away.

She looks great.

That sounds great DPR. Do you have an example of her diet that we can look at? She is right in the middle of trying to lose right now but the diet is making is very discouraging for her.

Make sure she takes care of her IBS before anything else. Like Dread said....unprocessed foods will go a long way.

I appreciate everyones help, however I have no idea how to build a diet to help her needs. If anybody knows anybody that has these issues and would be willing to share a diet it would be great.

Just schedule 4-6 meals per day. Figure out the percentage of carbs, fats, and proteins you want in each meal and go from there. Make sure the foods are IBS friendly.....and for that I would do a search on supplements and foods meant for IBS. For example I believe Gluten free is ideal.
