If you had to choose one for Triceps...

I can't decide which one to use in my current routine reverse grip or close grip bench. Which one do you guys like best?

My routine currently looks like this for Chest/Tri/Shoulder day:

Incline Smyth 2x5
Flat DB Bench 2x8
Dips 1x10
Close or Reverse 1x10
Lateral Raise 2x8

koops after a few months of dedicated reverse grip benching your new nickname will be trizilla :)
nothing hits the tris like reverse grip imo . dont be afraid to mix it up and do them first on chest day when your at your strongest , they still hit the chest some and they really tear up the front delts as well .
i always reccomend a handoff because unracking heavy weight reverse grip is tough and remember bring the bar down to the upper belly and not the chest

I did them on the Smyth yesterday, should I move to free BB?

free weights but start light and stay light till get you get used to them and find a good groove , dont be afraid to experiment with the groove and hand placement i use wide grip and turn my hands slightly to the side which points my index finger middle knucke towards the collars slightly , the bar rest in the groove at the bottom of the index finger that runs to the base of the hand below the pinkie .
remember use a spotter for a hand off .
 
why not try out db hammer grip floor presses for tris? Tried them out the first time a few weeks ago and really like the burn I get. Great exercise as well imo.

i like a variation, skull crushers used to be my favorite, but im sure everybody knows the problems that come with it. Close grips are good stuff

kills my elbows..which is why if i do them they are never done as a main move and i stick with higher reps 8-10
