Incomplete Protein....

I know that beans and nuts are an incomplete protein. I know that rice makes beans a complete protein. Does anybody know that makes nuts (more specifically peanut butter) a complete protein? I was thinking rice bread maybe. Thanks for your input.

Grains like oats, barley, and whole wheat, or other types of nuts like cashews and walnuts.

thanks for the input, everyone. i just found it myself. whole wheat bread makes it complete.

whats kinds are all natural, i get the peter pan shit.

some stores have machines that allow you to grind up the peanuts at the store. sort of like the coffee bean machines they have but for peanut butter. really hard, though but good.

Laura Scudders is all natural. Its easy to tell, the natural stuff is likely to have "natural" written all over it.

When ya look at the ingredients, and all it says is 'peanuts' and maybe 'salt', and there's a layer of oil settled at the top, you've found it.

I actually prefer the taste of the natural shit now.

Grains plus seeds(Rice with sesame seeds)
Grains plus milk(pasta with milk or cheese)
Grains plus legumes(rice and beans, I eat this all the time when bulking)

All of these form complete proteins.

Could someone please explain what makes a protein "incomplete"?

Its to do with the amino acid spectrum, to cover the bases eat two sources of protein in one sitting ie baked beans and wholewheat toast or add amino acid supps to a single source.

Eggs are pretty much perfect on their own as well as whey.

I beleive that the human body uses aminos for what it needs, when it needs to build hair, skin, bone etc... So does this mean that a complete protein will be used for muscle growth only? No!

Does this blow a hole in the complete protein thing? Not really, its still important to get the aminos as near as poss but dont worry about it being perfect.

This of course goes for the better types of protein ie fish, steak, chicken etc...I eat these on their own but soy, nuts etc I would not have without some other type of protein present

Thanks.

I was really interested in hearing an answer to that one.
