By telling him to quit taking androgens cold turkey, his psychiatrist basically killed him. Someone who is sound of mind could handle cold turkey cessation of steroid use as unpleasant as it can be. Someone who is already depressed...well we saw what happened.

Also remember guys, that the initial weight gain you see in the first few weeks of androgen use is NOT muscle or "gains". It's increased glycogen and water retention(not always extra-cellular). People get excited and go "oh baby i gained 15 lbs my first 4 weeks!!" They have no clue. It's physiologically impossible to build muscle that quickly.
