Injection site abscess. what are the possibilities for the cause?

What are the causes? Unsanitary injection procedure is a sure way to get an infection.

What do I do if I get one? See a doctor and get antibiotics

Either shitty gear or shitty injection technique. Something wasn't sterile.

Anybody know how much it costs to get an abscess drained? I just recently had and experience where I suspected an abscess: http://www.steroidology.com/forum/a...rience-doing-injections-abscess-old-gear.html

Cost me $145 for a vist with the doc and $7 for antibiotics to be taken for 10 days.... Drainage was not necessary. Although I did do some drainage myself it seems.... I assume, what I am dealing with(swelling,lumps) will go away on it's own; but only time will tell....

Lmao, I do actually. I don't need to give blood as it is, my hematocrit never rises much. I've self plehbotomized twice more as a learning experience than anything.

Yeah, just have somebody around or something... If u pass out ur gonna bleed out; risky business.

If u have good ins a doctor is a good choice sometimes u can draw a peace of stopper into syringe and inject it that will cause the abscess also
