what do you guys think about taking insulin?

I read that it's dangerous to take, is it wroth

taking for putting on mass?

Research, research and then research some more.

But once you know slin like the back of your hand it is well worth all the work :)

I've found it to be the most price efficient muscle builder, but it is VERY dangerous.

yea dude do alot of reasearch your ass off, becausei have not had a problem it has took my gains to a different level...

research is the key

Hmm...all those threads either talk about taking it with Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) and/or GH or don't mention it at all; i.e. they don't explicitly validate taking it by itself. I've gotten some conflicting opinions on that myself.... from one book:

Insulin, by itself, is not an effective anabolic.

Insulin, in combination with androgen and resistance exercise, may trigger maturation of satellite cells (small, more or less useless cells that are held in reserve, which do not contribute to muscular strength) into mature muscle cells. The advanced steroid user may have plateau'd in that respect, and adding insulin can give new gains.

I don't think anyone knows whether short or long acting is more effective for building muscle. They seem to be about equally effective. A problem with long acting appears if it would continue acting while asleep: one might die if insufficient carbs had been taken.

I see that some people have gotten good results (presumably) without stacking it with another compound, but it doesn't talk about avoiding fat loss or anything. Can someone shed some light on this?
