Is 200mg test prop EOD overkill for a newb?

making this thread quick as i am about to head to the gym and hopefully get some replies by the time i get back

quick stats - 27yr old, bodyfat in check, tons of research done before starting this new cycle. 12 years of lifting, only past cycle experience was dbol+test gel 6 years ago(fairly low dose on both)


now im running a real cycle for the first time at about 120mg test prop EOD + 25-30mg winstrol depot ED(just doing a test run on the winstrol to see how my body reacts)

after a week i started to feel amazing, full of energy, more drive than ever to workout...cut out alcohol/junk food etc... just overall feel perfect

no sides other than oily face and 1 pimple, everything else has been purely positive and i dont feel weird mentally or physically at all. no complaints

im running a short experimental/blast cycle or whatever you want to call it...plan is 7 weeks then post cycle therapy (pct)

i want to bump the test up to 150mg EOD which would give me around an extra 90-100mg a week. (120mgx3/week = 360, 150x3 a week = 450)

i read the thread here about 300mg test vs 600mg test and seemed like the 600 was pretty safe

however, 200mg EOD could be 800mg in 1 week (mon/wed/fri/sun) then(tues/thurs/sat 600mg) the next. average of 700mg a week

would that be overkill for a guy my age with no real test experience, considering its not a long 12 week cycle and my post cycle therapy (pct) will be perfect?

think maybe i should just do 600mg a week max or you think 800mg will be much better with similar sides? OR do you think it would be better for me to just stick to my 120 and ride it out for the 7 weeks and maybe do a higher dose next cycle, assuming i do another?

im thinking bumping from 120EOD to 150EOD might not be that big of a deal, but then again, i am new and dont know how strong an extra 100mg per week would be...so im hoping someone here with enough experience can give me solid advice. Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance!
 
I would think yes. That comes out to 700mg/wk. I would do 150mg/EOD. Would put you at 525 a week. Plenty to grow.

i should have added, im not bulking right now.

i'm cutting about 30lbs and my main goal is to increase my cardio endurance, maintain the muscle that i have and possibly add some if im lucky and add some strength

i took about 8 months off from lifting so my muscles are in the newbie state...in my experience i can lose fat AND put on muscle+strength even when cutting, but only if several months are taken off.

i cant remember what its called but i read an article a while back about your muscles going back into a dormant state from too much time off, and you grow like a beginner when you start back. i believe markus ruhl said it. ronnie coleman was also known to take several months off after his olympia wins.
 
also if anyone could give some detail on what the risks would be as far as sides or whatever

i know how it feels to take 1 fat burner, feel good and take the 2nd pill/capsule and end up feeling like a crackhead all day long...so im kinda thinking maybe it will work out similar with adding more test only because i feel fine on this dose.
 
it is for sure overkill. you don't need that much to grow at ur experience level! and u gotta keep upping the dose the more cycles you do. why would u want to make that happen faster?

its not that i want to, i was asking for opinions on doing it and what to expect.

i def dont want to have a high tolerance this early and end up having to run a shitload in the future to feel it.

thing is, i dont even know for sure if i'll continue to cycle after this. I had a few goals that i wanted to accomplish and I will more than likely have what i want by the time this cycle is over.

im basically shedding 30lbs of fat and wanted to hold on to all the muscle i could, recover better from extreme cardio workouts etc... then maintain a low bodyfat on my own and continue to lift naturally. I also wanted to add some strength while cutting too, but once im at my goal weight i dont really see the need to continue using. That's why i was kinda thinking "what the hell" why not do a high dose 1 good time and get the max benefit from it.

considering all that, do you still think its a bad idea? if so then why? if its just for tolerance purposes then i should be fine...if there are more serious things to worry about then please enlighten me.
 
Use peptides like GHRP-6, CJC-1295 without Dac, frag 176-191, Hexalerin, impalerin etc...... They are good for shredding fat, Ghrp-2 and Ghrp-6 does me well.
 
From what I hear having a high body fat percentage is not good to run test because its easyer for conversion to estrogen.

not interested. cardio burns fat for me just fine

i was looking for opinions on 200mg EOD test
 
Im pinning 150Prop tues thurs and sat so only 450/week and I feel great bloods came back >1500 so I would say at your age that would be too excessive unless you have a low natural test level if so just pin 3 set days/week
 
200 is a pretty high dose for your first time. I was running 100mg EOD and got great results with that. Also if your cutting down and your on a calorie reduced diet. your body will react to the anabolics better. so there is no need for high doses. As for side effects, if your nipples start to get sensitive, you could always use nova or letro to stop that.

If bodyfat in "check" why do you need to lose 30lb??? unless you are really heavy and tall your bf probably not in check
