Is a hormonal crash possible on a diet?

I wondered a long time what was wrong with me i got great results but it killed t libido and motivation. I ised to be 210 lbs at 6' at around 20% bf abd i wanted to cut down so i did a low carb diet. Here is the outline of what i did.

8am 16 egg whites, the sugariest oatmeal i could find.

10 am tuna salad. Salad, 200g of tuna home
Made balsamic dressing

12pm 250 g of chicken breast and a cup of brocolli

2pm same as above

4 pm 250g of cottage cheese

Training

6 pm a protein shake
And a steak

8pm 16 egg whites

9:30 sleep.

I did this for 4 months dropped from 210 lbs to 175lbs at 8%bf
Got tired of looking like a cancer patient, my face got seriously hollow. Decided to carb up and problems started i felt like shit for months. Kinda got ahold of it now but i still dont feel at 100%. I was 26 when istarted this , now i am 27.

Any thoughts,?
 
Didn't read through your diet but to answer your question: YES.

It took me 16 months but I lost around 100 pounds, starting in May 2010 and ending August 2011. I was 23 when I finished. I looked very drawn out by cycles end but I had lost all the body fat and I was shredded. But, by the end of the cut I was depressed, emotional, I couldn't stay hard, could BARELY nut, and had this weird shit going on with my balls where one of em would retreat back into my stomach whenever I WOULD nut. STILL dunno wtf that is.

I had never taken steroids or pHs or anything like that at that point... only now am I on my first steroid cycle... but that being said, the symptoms I had in my mind sound pretty damn similar to a hormone crash during post cycle therapy (pct). The libido issues fucking scared me bro.

I was pretty low on most macros... probably ok with protein, but low carbs sans for a refeed once a week, and had pretty damn low fats... IMO the low fats played the biggest contributing factor, but there were probably other issues as well. So maybe focus on adding alotta healthy fats like almonds and shit in there.

It got better though. I'm 24 now, I've gained good healthy size now, and I'm healthy in mind, body and spirit. And I can fuck like a champ. You'll be good dude. Hope my post helps you somehow.
 
possible some vitamin or nutrient deficiency or malnutrition

maybe take vitamins or more fruit and vegetables, vitamin c

see if that helps

and you could have labs done and see were your hormones are at, blood sugar, thyroid

Maybe you need to enhance your micronutrient uptake? I remember visiting my family last winter and I was (according to family and friends) looking malnourished, my mother gave me Amazing Grass high ORAC powder blends. It pretty much has all the stuff you body needs to slow oxidation, improve digestion, help immune system and improve intercellular health. The product is great, I use it till this very day and it isn't that expensive considering the benefits. Just be prepared for its apocalyptic taste, tastes like mud with a hint of cayenne pepper.

You can add a quick kidney, colon and liver cleanse/flush for a couple of weeks to rid yourself of metabolic waste.
