Is cheese Ok to eat...or is there just too many calories from fat?

Think quanity bro. Are we talking a 16th of a cup once a day or are we talking 6 times a day 2 cups worth. You can eat damn near anything in small quanities.

no cheese if you can avoid it. And especially, if you are dieting down, eat NOTHING that says it's "fat free". The junk that is put in fat free food to make it taste like the real deal is toxic suicide for your system and a first class ticket to major overweight problems. It is better to eat whole "natural" fatty foods (like cheese or heavy dairy) than to eat a fat free substitute by far.

The protein from cheese (casein) isn't bad. It's slow digesting, but I don't think cheese is good for loosing weight.

The fat free stuff is made from skim milk.

I get low fat string cheese that I always take to work w/ me and snack on. Each stick has 9g protein and only 2.5g of fat. 60 cals total. The brand is Frigo I think.
