is it really ok to cheat?????????

it really depends on the person but on a 7 day cycle I have 1 day where I have a nice cheat meal. Sometimes I do 2 days in 9 or 10 but I try not to. I try to make cheat meals at strategic times too like right after a hard weight session or after 2 hours of cardio. It's actually goo to cheat because it raises your leptin levels and actually allows you to burn more fat. Dieting lowers your leptin levels. that's why the more weight you lose the harder it becomes. Plus, cheating keeps you sane.
 
ok, this is where many ppl will not and do not agree with me (unless u personally know me, then u know it works, hehe)...i will not and cannot give away my carbload process step by step cause of obvious reasons, but im on my precontest diet rite now (5wks out) and i load up on 10000 cals every sunday...i dont believe in the "one" cheat meal thing..no no, i load up real good that one day and spike the hell out of my metabolism...

I'll tell u how good it works..heres an example..

lets say its monday morning and i weigh 220...then on saturday nite im 217...i load up on sunday and monday morning im up to 228...i gained 8lbs of water, thats rite - water...now i go back on my diet and by the next saturday nite i dropped all the weight i gained from water and lost about 1 or 2 lbs from the previous saturdays weight...

so u see, it spikes it so good that it actually helps to drop weight and burn fat...many may not agree with this practice, but im relaxed rite now with my condition...cause it works.

Pudge i agree with you, people have a hard time believing that I gain 7-10 lbs in one day, but it happens. As long as the next week I am weighing less then it is ok by me
 
quite honestly, i eat anything and everything...i know its hard to believe but i do...whatever i crave, i eat...

a regular cheat day may look like this, for example;

Ihop, burger king, couple pints of ice cream, pop tarts, chinese, cookies, krispy kremes, etc...

like that i jack up my metabolism so good it has no choice but to burn fat..

pudge, I really like your theory. How long have you been doing this? And whats your diet like during the week when your strict? And how much cardio do you include?
 
im a little less than 5wks out rite now...I decided to give the shitload a trial run way back when i was 10wks out...and i was impressed with what it did to me...made my physique look alot harder and leaner..

I've been actively competing for 3 yrs now and this is the first yr i've tried this and i've never looked so much better...

One more to agree with Pudge

I agree with pudge. at one point in my life i was 275+, i decided to do a crash diet. Crystal light, water, less than 450-1000 cals on days i would eat. sometimes i would go for 3-6 days without eating. but every once in a while maybe 8-15 days apart i would "load" or pig out for a whole day and eat like 6 cupcakes and two whoppers and two fries at a sitting, more shit the rest of the day crazy binge shit but...... i lost over 100lbs in 6mos so i dont know the science but proof is in the pudding.
 
I stick with what the english rugby team do. The 80/20 rule, 80% of the time eat right and train like a bastard, 20% of the time do what you like. Keeps you from get bored and allows you the stuff you crave, and has the added advantage of stopping your body going into starvation mode from the reduced calorie intake and holding on to your body fat and love handles
