Hey guys so I've been doing this new work out routine. I do 3 work outs for 2 muscle groups so a total of 6 work outs, each 5 sets of 8 reps and I do 75% max weight with maybe around 10-20 second rest period.
Example: Flat bench: 5 sets of 8 reps with 10-20 second rest at 75% max weight
Incline dumbbell fly's: 5 sets of 8 reps with 10-20 second rest at 75% max weight
Decline dumbbell press: 5 sets of 8 reps etc etc etc(you get the picture)
Skull crushers: 5.....
Tricep extension:...
Belt weight dips:....
So this is just to give you an idea I do lots of other workouts but all 5 sets of 8 reps with 10-20 second rest and 75% weight max.
I also run 3 times a week 3-4 miles.
Now my endurance has increased like crazy, I don't seem to get too tired anymore. As for gains my muscles are really getting super hard and defined but I've only been doing this for 2 months off gear so not sure if I'm making gains, strength has increased increased slightly also. Do you guys think this work out is detrimental to building muscle? I'm 150 pounds 5'6 now been training for almost 2 years.
