Oh my gosh. When I saw the topic of this thread, I considered adding a stupid joke to the thread about how Isopropyl Alcohol is NOT ethanol alcohol, but there actually exist people that die or go blind because they don't know that. Imagine my surprise when the question literally was to confirm this equivalence.

Isopropyl is not to be taken orally.

Damn right.

Kids die or go blind because they made the wrong assumption about these two different types of alcohol. I had a teacher in high school tell the class about this because it is 'common knowledge' that many don't know about.
