LAB RESULTS ARE IN. Post cycle

dedicatedbiceps

Bench double your weight?
to sum it up... I ran a cycle of

100mg tren EOD for 8 weeks and
500mg test E every week for 12 weeks.

Check out my other posts for the gains I made... but had my lab work prior to the cycle and total test level was at 340. A few weeks after my post cycle therapy (pct) had ended ( today) my total testosterone results came in at 480.

I am now a firm believer in Nolvadex/Tamoxifen for post cycle therapy (pct). All I ran for post cycle therapy (pct) was Nolva 40mg first week and 20mg for 2 weeks after that.
I also had Met RX test booster pills, but I doubt it had much affect.

Guys go look at his pics on before and after his cycle. Im calling bullshit on his gains. Notice the moles on his right hand are not there in the after cycle photos.... Take a look.

They migrated to his left shoulder, durrrrrr. Didn't you know AAS does that? :p

Im in my early 20's. Too young for AAS I know, but as you said 340 is low, AAS has helped me immensely. Dr. wont give replacement therapy as it is not "low enough". A normal total test level for my age is 650-700.

Dude, never run a test booster during PCT..

Your goal is to allow test levels to get back to a normal range, so that your body can begin producing test again on its' own. Taking a test booster will keep levels elevated, and counter act any PCT that you do. Some people even prefer waiting 3 weeks after last pin (for long esters) to begin PCT so that their test levels are low enough to properly recover.

^this is the worst advice I have ever heard. Taking a test booster during post cycle therapy (pct) (ie DAA) is a good idea and will help you recover faster by stimulating LH production.

Clearly, infection, you have no clue whatsoever how recovery works. If a test booster counter acted post cycle therapy (pct) then you would need a post cycle therapy (pct) after taking DAA...which you don't, i f you know anything.

Dude, you are going against the grain on this one, chief.

The goal of post cycle therapy (pct) is to stop exogenous test and to allow the body to start producing its' own testosterone. If you use a test booster and spike your test levels again(which is the same concept as steroids), then you will still be elevated over your natural test levels, and inhibit natural production.

COMMON SENSE

This is completely incorrect and goes against all medical literature there is on this stuff.

A test booster is NOT exogenous. A test booster raises natural levels (DAA, trib, testofen, zinc blends, etc) and will restart your natural test faster. By your logic, using nolva or clomid for post cycle therapy (pct) would be completely useless because they are DRUGS (whereas test boosters are not) that raise levels above what they would naturally be (you would know this if you had ever looked at blood work). Test boosters do the same thing as SERMs but are MUCH less effective.

Idk where you are even getting this info...clomid/nolva spike test production (thats the point of post cycle therapy (pct)) so are you saying you shouldn't use those either?

Read some threads, bro. This has been covered a lot.

Have you ever used gear? You sound like some skinny 150# 16 yo.

You are so uneducated...

That thread does absolutely 100% nothing to prove that test boosters HINDER post cycle therapy (pct) haha. Now, I agree that they do very little and using clomid solo as a test booster works better than anything on the market. But taking something like DAA during your post cycle therapy (pct) will do nothing but aid recovery and there is no medical literature (or anecdotal evidence for that matter) to say anything otherwise.

yes I have used gear and I guarantee I know more than you (which has been proven by this conversation). Go read William Llewwllys 10th Anabolics and do something other than repeat some broscience you heard from a gym buddy.

You never answered my question, by the way, about nolva/clomid being (according to your logic) exogenous test boosters? If DAA will inhibit your natural production, then prescription drugs that boost your levels above normal sure as hell will inhibit recovery.

Sorry for the name calling. I am super irritable today and I feel like throwing dumbbells at people.

Clomid and nolva act on different pathways to alter the production of testosterone, which vary significantly from 'test boosters'.

I read 2 of his earlier books. He errors on the side of caution with everything. I like L.Rea, who wrote Chemical Muscle Enhancement because he has actually used everything, and polls thousands of pros for his research.

And no, I am not uneducated.. I am at university working towards my doctorate in biochemistry. I think I know a wee bit about the body..
