need a little advice on training legs from anyone who might have across something similar
in short, i've never given any attention to my legs specifically in my time of weight training. I still have reasonable size and strength for someone who doesn't train legs but this is from doing a lot of sprinting and plyometrics style exercises years and years ago.
I can NOT squat more then ~60kgs. I'm not neglecting my legs by choice, seem to have weak knees particularly the right one. In short if i try and squat more than say 60kgs, or deadlift more than 100kgs+, i feel like my knees will snap. Almost always i will feel pain and burning the day after. Anyone have any ideas for strengthening and defining the legs or should i be seeking medical assistance?
