Legs with Shoulders?

Is it OK to train legs with say shoulders, or another upper body muscle? I am always playing around with new workouts and would have one I may like to try if this is OK.

I remember reading somewhere a long time ago that it was not good to train upper/lower body together, or even muscles too far apart. It was saying something about the blood being pulled away from the muscles that need it at the time. So if you worked shoulders and then went to legs, you would pull much needed blood away from the shoulders just trained to work the legs.

I don't remember any more of the write up then that, guess it makes sense to some extent. Just wanted to see what some of you thought and If anyone know what i am talking about.

its ok to train legs and shoulders at the same time infact its what im doing right as i train the same muscle group 2 times a week with a abc program as far as the blood theory i think its bullship myself as i train shoulders first and then legs and still get massive pumps
in my legs the down side is that legs workout is very hard and if i train shoulders first i find that my energy drops so you might want to do legs and then shoulders which is a smaller mucle and its take less from your central nervous system and less energy

hopes it makes sense to you

yeah that is bullshit. they are not agonist muscle and not affiliated. you heart pumps ~6 liters of blood/minute.... that is more than enough to provdie enough nutrients for recovery. and at ~ MHR -> 25 L/min.
