Life exspectance of Ephedra

I found about 500 pills that I purchased 5 years ago in my closet. Any chance they go bad or loose there punch?

I'd be willing to be they're still as potent or nearly as potent as when you first bought them. Expiration dates just guarantee potency up until a specific date. They also serve as a way for drug/supplement manufacturers to keep the general public continuously cleaning out their medicine chests every so often in order to make more purchases.
