Lipids went to hell.

I went in for my routine blood work. They said my bad cholesterol is way the F up and My good is way down. (With 4 th if July and long weekend they were in a hurry so I didn't get the actual numbers and have to wait for a copy of my results) My RBC is way up too. I can't give blood for another three weeks to deal with the RBC either. I was right at upper end so may have to get a script just to donate if it gets any higher. My next set of blood work is scheduled in 30 days.
Age 40 603/229lbs. I work out 4-5 days week. 30 minutes of cardio each session too. I only have 10lbs more realisticly to loose comming from 245ish at my heaviest before I got my T issues straightened out. Keeping track of my actual weight loss had been hard in the last month since all the muscle I lost after I got hurt is comming back on faster then I ever thought. I know I am down more bf but I'm weighing in slightly heavier at times. Ive got a few months in the gym and before that was working out at home. It has been a long hellish road for me. My BP is within normal range too.
I take 200 ml of cyp a week. 250 Iu of hcg twice a week. .5 of adex twice a week. Krill oil to get my omegas. I laid off most of the other supplements and only other thing I was taken at time of tests was GABA. Plus pain meds. My diet included lot of fresh vegetables for my good carbs, meats and I stay away from the bad carbs. Most of red meat is grass fed Agnus. we have 1/4 cow in the freezers We buy directly from someone whose hobby is grass fed Agnus. Pre injury that type of diet and working out had my blood panels sitting better than perfect.
So I was shocked to see that my lipids were that out of whack to where doctor is taking meds. I won't take em so I need to get this strsgihtened out.
I am wondering if the adex doesn't agree with me examse pre adex I didn't have its issue. I am going to swtich to aormasin and see if that changes thing up too.
I added oatmeal, flax seed and grape fruit for my breakfast along with a shot of apple cider. Yuck! Lunch has been Tuna and a salad. I usally have a low carb protein shake after the gym. I will add on other fishes to my lunch and dinner one I get a change to stop at Sams and stock up. I hav been lazy with the crazy weather we have had and haven't been brewing any green tea but I will add more green tea into my regimine again too.
Looking for any insight from others who have dealt with this issue.

I haven't dealt with those issues but I have often read that adex can be hard on lipids, so changing back to aromasin might be what you need.

How much krill oil are you taking a day? I know it might seem counter-intuitive, but my lipids improved drastically when I bumped my fish oil (krill oil is honestly no better or worse) up to 4g every day. Heck, just getting my wife up to 2g ED has gotten her completely off the bp meds altogether. Worth looking into at least. :)

1000mg of the Krill daily plus I was taking 12mg of pure Astaxanthin too. I don't think Astaxanthin by itself had any of the omega benefits but didn't want to over do it either. It looks like I need more omegas which is why I started using with the flax seed again. I was using flax seed before but now that the kids are home all day the fridge is loaded with lots of snacks & treats for them which pushed my flax and other things into that spot ya just hate to have to move every thing to get at it. Its moved now ;)
Should the fish ie Tuna and whatever else I pick up & flax seed seed be be enough with the krill or do I bump up the kill oil or add add a fish oil?
I tried the krill oil at 2000mg a month ago for kicks. I am guessing between that and the hcg I felt like all I sweated was pure oil. I gave up after a week I hate the oily feeling so much.
Thanks.

I'll probably get loads of grief for it, but I eat tuna every day combined with liberal doses of olive oil in everything that is cooked. I still add 4g of fish oil every day and have fantastic lipids even on arimidex. I do think switching over to anastrozole might not be a bad idea just to see how you do on it however. If you feel like you're sweating oil and feel gross, I'd increase water intake significantly. I consume well over 2 gallons a day in the summer and even though I sweat like a hooker in church, I don't tend to sweat anything but water or have oily skin. Just a thought. :)

Thank you halfwit! Your a wealth of knowledge. Yeah I'm I'm going to be a Tuna eating fool. My wife won't eat fish so we don't eat fish a lot. Only when kids insist on keeping a few fish is about only time I ever cook it up anymore. That's about to change though. I'm sure I could akways use more water too. I need to get this mess straightend out and doctor not wanting tests since it ruined my start of summer blast.

Sounds like a plan! Megatron also has a great suggestion that I hadn't thought of - fiber intake. That will help too I'm betting. I'm not a big fan of powders, but I do take two fiber choice chewables a day on top of my normal fiber sources like oats/greens/etc. Let us know how it goes! :)

I used to take a lot of the husk powder daily. The opaites had me so bound up I had no choice. Painful nights in the fetal position taught me the hard way about the necissity of extra fiber intake with opaites. Since I have been eating a ton of fresh veggies I laid off the powders to see how things were going. Things have been going so good I just didn't think I needed it anymore. But, as usual I don't know better. I should have been using it again just for the cholesteol aspect. Better safe then sorry as well. I know I know I need to be extra cautious because of all the crap I have to take to have any resemblance of normal activity in my life. Hence why I have the doctor do extra monitoring of my kindey and liver too. Thanks for reminder about the husks Megatron. It should have been one of first things I pulled back out if the closest and it never dawned on me.

I hear you on the powders, but I found it really hard to get 20-30 grams of soluble fiber intake daily without adding in something like psyllium. Even then it is hard to do. You could try carrying fiber bars around with you. The kids will steal them from you though if you get the ones with chocolate. :-)

Soluble fiber really does bring down cholesterol, but it is hard to sustain a diet like that for long unfortunately. And remember to ease into it so you can avoid those nasty fiber farts and emergency bathroom runs at work.

Look up psyllium and give it a try. Here is one from Amazon I like. One tablespoon is a whopping 9 grams. Just mix it in with some OJ.
