It's not necessary. It was so important back in the day when creatine monohydrate was pretty expensive to enable the mega supplement companies (namely EAS) to make more moolah by having their patrons consume more and ultimately buy more by utilizing an initial loading phase.
loading is not necessary...you body will only hold so much. it was a scam (as posted above) for the supplement companies to sell more of the expensive creatine monohydrate...that shit is cheaper than dirt now.
sorry Easto but i have read to much shit lately that i would rather stick to mono or one of the other creatines thats not Ester-ized...seen to mnay bad reprots on CEE. mono will still get the job done.
and the only big diff between mono and CEE is the amount of time it takes one to max out their creatine stores (CEE is fater at this supposedly). once you creatine stores are full it wont matter if its CEE or mono.
The only reason you ever would want to load creatine........
.......you love to piss away money and give it to those poor bastards that own those supplement companies that already over charge the hell out of you for their junk.
There was a study that showed after 2 days of loading, you essentially piss out about 60% of creatine taken in above the eventual maintenance dose...so yes, it's basically pointless.
