HI all,

Ive googled this alot and theres so many varied answer I cant make an informed decision.

If you microwave whey protein is it still got all of its nutrients?

I mixed with oats and microwave as a preworkout meal. I might have to reconsider??

Ive read alot of stuff saying the protein is denatured but what does this really mean to our body absorbsion of the o-so-vital amino's.

When on a low carb/ low cal diet I need to know all my protein is hitting the spot...I know you guys can relate!
 
Something about the microwaves from the microwave change the shape or makeup of the actual protein strand and your body doesn't absorb as much of it because to your body the chemical make-up of the protein stand has changed...and is not a true protein needed for bodily functions.

Just shit I've read.
 
I cook my oats in the pot on the stove. Doesn't take long. I think that is how you SHOULD cook your stuff.

I cook everything in the oven or on the stove top.
