Low Test/TRT Question
I was directed to this forum by UserAt204 and wanted to ask a question.
I'm almost done 3 weeks of my post cycle therapy (pct) and I can tell by not only looking in the mirror but also by the scale that I have lost of lot of my gains but don't understand it. I've always made a point of eating enough calories to either maintain my weight or possibly add 1-2 pounds per week, (well maintained clean diet) and I reduced the volume of lifting during post cycle therapy (pct) but remained lifting heavy and also reduced cardio. Now, I think it was Phatbastard that made a comment in a Triptorelin thread, that if you're Test levels are low and you're a candidate for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), (but not on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) yet) then keeping your gains would be almost impossible. Could this be the reasoning for losing my gains? My doctor believes that I am going to test low but we have to wait 3 more weeks before we can get my blood done. But even early on in my cycle he believed that my Test levels were likely low before, after discussing symptoms with him.
I'm just trying to figure out if that could be the cause of losing my gains. I just know that while I was on cycle, my quality of life improved greatly as did a few other areas such as libido, etc. I'm 47 years old and have had these symptoms for many years but never ever knew anything about Low Test and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and my doctor never ever suggested it.
Can anyone share their thoughts on this? Thanks
