Low Water Lean Mass Cycle Suggestions

Hello to everyone on the forum!

I am new to actually posting on this forum, but I have been reading steroid profiles and threads on here for over a year now in order to get the best info I can about AAS before actually starting it.

So first off, I would like to let you all know what my stats are to better help with your suggestions.

Weight: 200
Bf%: 15-16%
Height: 6'2"
Age: 25
Training experience: I have lifted since I was 15 years old. Serious lifting and nutrition did not start until I was 19.
AAS experience: None, I have never used AAS or prohormones or anything of the sort. I have only used proper nutrition and training to achieve my current stats.

Since I was 19, I have followed a bulk in the fall/winter and cut in the spring/summer lifestyle. When I started working out I was still 6'2", but I weighted a mere 150 pounds. For the past two summers, I have cut down to a weight of 184-185 at around 7% BF. It seems as though I am unable to continue gaining lean mass of any substantial amount through my bulking efforts. And please do not get me wrong, I really bulk hard. I am not one of these guys that has always tried to stay lean while I bulk. My bulks have always lasted around 6-8 months.

I just wanted to give you all a little insight as to who I am and how I train so you all can give me the best information possible.

So, I am currently cutting down to single digit bodyfat once again. I am going to be taking a job that requires me to stay lean (at least 10%bf) year round. I still, however, want to gain a little size to improve my physique to what I would consider my ultimate goal physique. I would like to be somewhere around 200 lbs while I am in single digit bf%. I do not need this right away or within a year or anything similar to that fast. I would be just fine with slowly working up to it from my current size over the next few years.

But there is a catch.

I want to stay around 10% bodyfat while I gain this weight for my job.

I have read a lot about AAS for over a year now and it seems that the consensus among users is that a test only cycle is the perfect choice for a beginner. However, I have also read that test makes you hold lots of water, which I also do not want due to my job requirement of maintaining muscle definition.

So my question to this knowledgeable forum is this:
What cycle would be best suited for an AAS beginner with the goals of gaining steady muscle mass while keeping water and fat relatively low during the bulk?

Thanks in advance for the help

Really, it's all going to be diet based. You can run test only, as you should for a first cycle, control estrogen with an AI, and check it with blood tests(!), and watch your sodium intake, drink lots of water, etc.

The diet will make the difference, not the gear.

Thanks for the response CanAmBrah. This is very good to hear that diet will have the most control over this. I have looked at the cycling for beginners sticky on this forum. I was thinking of following this for my first go. I am still open to any other suggestions and would love to hear from others on this topic.

If your really going down to single digits it sounds like you got your diet down. Just make sure you run an ai and keep estrogen in check as well, and Im sure the water won't be an issue.
