Macro Numbers

Hey folks,

I'm looking to drop my BF% some more. I'm 211lbs so I figure about 3100-3200 calories would be maintenance correct? So I'm looking at dropping down to about 2600 calories to start. What kind of macros would you recommend?

I was thinking of keeping the protein high and low carbs - like maybe 50% Protein and 30% carbs, but what would be a good daily fat intake? Would I keep that relatively low as well?

Appreciate any advice with this!!

Great, thanks 3J. Question, usually before bed I have a shake made of 1 cup 1% milk, 1 cup low fat cottage cheese and 2 scoops Myofusion that adds up too:

Calories - 599
Fat - 15.3
Protein - 88.5
Carbs - 34.2

I did this because of them saying you need a slow digesting protein for throught the night. Should I continue with this or cut it down some? If I removed the cottage cheese it would be 399 calories, 22.2g carbs, 58.5 Pro and 8.4 fat

And would you agree that 2600 calories is a good starting point?

is myofuse casein?? if not then dont cut the cottage cheese.. that's slow digesting

Hey 3J, been running at 2600 cals since this post and running the numbers that you posted in post #2. I have noticed a decrease in my BF% but my weight has increased to 214. I know the weight increase is good because I notice it in the muscle I've put on.

My question is, could I drop down to 2300 calories for a while to burn even more bodyfat and if so, what kind of numbers would you recommend?

I was thinking something like:

300g Pro
80g Fat < Most of my fat comes from Omega 3 (Flax oil, Fish oil, and some Olive Oil)
133g Carbs

Your thoughts/advice?

Thanks a million!!
