To anyone interested this is a post on journey that I decided to share over the past 2 years that led me to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with Maximus.

First off I have to say that I have to give all the glory to God because leading up to my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I had great friends through church that brought me out of some rough patches that I will get into later. God uses many people in many different ways.

I was always a very muscular and fit individual. I was a college athlete and maintained a great physique, worked hard, and took pride in how I presented myself and my body. I usually sit at 190lbs and under 10%BF, 6ft tall. I coach and teach at the high school level as well.

In the spring of 2010 I was hospitalized with random chest pain that put me off the couch and onto the floor in a split second. I was hospitalized and after endless tests it was....anxiety. I could not believe it even though I had heard of "panic attacks" but have never experienced anything like it. I enjoyed public speaking in college, as a coach at sports banquets, and took great pride in handling pressure in contests as an athlete...never any red flags with anxiety. For some random reason my brain just went haywire and sent false andrenaline signals.

After being hospitatlized once more I was went through the worst month of my life as my body adjusted to a heavy dose of anti-depressants....for some of those who have been through SSRI start-up...you know the nightmare I am speaking of.

I slowly began to get better but for the last year and a half I started to get the gut around my midsection that I have never had. There was a 6 pack of abs that disappeared for the first time ever, it sucked. No matter how much cardio and dieting I simply could not get it back. Then the sex drive and libido slowly went as time went on. Grateful anxiety was disappearing, but side effects took away my edge.

I began researching low T and the effects it could have on someones lifestyle. I could not believe that at 30 years old I qualified. I had levels that were low for my age even though I had the typical General Practitioner who said they were fine. I was put on Androgel and began to feel great, but I was not fond of not being able to touch my 7 year old son at certain times and transmitting it was just not worth it, then came the patch...which is dumb. Then I went to a urologist who I had nasty words for when he loaded up a syringe with 400mg of testosterone cypionate and said he would inject me and see me in a month...no hcg, no arimidex, nothing. He called it 'standard procedure'.

It was after 3 months of battling these doctors with testosterone that I began to do my own research and found Chip and Maximus Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). I studied hard and decided that it was right for me to make the investment. Chip was straight up, personable, and cuts right to the chase, he even responds quickly to any questions I have. The advisory portion of the Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) he provides is outstanding, the products legit, and prices great. Praise God that after 3 weeks I feel better then ever. Better workouts, 6 pack is back, I find it difficult to get tired in the gym, and the libido is great.

It was also financially great because it is cheaper for a 6 month supply of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) compared to the antidepressants, erectile dysfunction med, sleeping med, dr visits, ect that was spending before. I am currently weeing off the antidepressants and am almost completely off them with no anxiety or depression withdrawl symptoms. I have to give credit to Chip and Maximus.

I hope this helps anyone who many have been in a similar situation and is considering Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Do your research and get educated on not only testosterone but the hcg, arimidex, ect...and find what is right for you.

This is very important and something not talked about enough. Financially you can actually be better off by saving money on all of the other stuff you may not need anymore. Thank you for bringing this up and sharing your story.

Dude, I know exactly what you are talking about when starting an SSRI. I believed I was super-sensitive and that is why I had a rough transition but now I am starting to think that I never needed the SSRI and that I had adequate levels of serotonin. The excess serotonin mimicked symptoms of serotonin syndrome.
